I would like to see: a
1) any trade involving Prince that nets us RJ, Gerald Wallace, Josh Smith, or Andrei Kirilenko. Perhaps Andre Iguodala.
2) any trade involving Amir that nets us a solid, starting C. If we can move a) Rasheed back to PF, where he prefers, or b) McDyess back to the bench, which HE prefers, I would. Something along the lines of expirings+Amir.

Saunders doesn't play Amir because of his low BBIQ, whereas Maggette's might be higher since he has been in the league a long time, he'd reportedly had a helluva time picking up Dunleavy's systems in LAC and was rumored to be traded for that very reason.
I'd love to have an athletic slasher three, but I don't think Maggette is the answer.
AK47 could be a possibility though I think he would cost more than Prince and spare parts. Sloan would wank to the thought of Hamilton and Prince though - Rip's midrange motion game and Tay's bland effectiveness.
What about - Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince for Andrei Kirilenko and Ronnie Brewer?
Detroit now is -
Chauncey Billups
Ronnie Brewer/Aaron Afflalo
Andrei Kirilenko
Antonio McDyess
Rasheed Wallace
Utah becomes-
Deron Williams
Richard Hamilton
Tay Prince
Carlos Boozer
Mehmet Okur

Rip Hamilton is a stain on the Pistons franchise.

Brewer scouting reports:
http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profile ... rewer.html
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Ronnie-Brewer-64/
What he's done so far:
http://www.nba.com/playerfile/ronnie_br ... stats.html
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/414 ... WtqC2kvLYF
I would do it. I wonder if we'd have a pick sent our way?
MY depth chart, just because:
Billups/Stuckey+SG/Hunter*
Brewer+PG+SF/Afflalo+SF/Murray+PG*
Hayes+SG+PF/Hermann+PF
Kirilenko+SF/Maxiell+SF+C/Johnson+SF+C
Wallace+PF/McDyess+PF/Brezec/Samb+PF*
HAVE we seen Maxiell get minutes at SF yet? I know I've seen him at C in super-small lineups. Same goes for Amir?

Thats an intriguing offer ill admit. Ronnie Brewer is having a very good season, he plays D very well and can slash to a degree. He definetly start at the 2.
The problem is AK. I love him, but he is a 4, not a 3. We would have to start him at the 3 because of Tays loss and it isnt where he belongs, which in my mind is a problem.
We are also losing a lot of offense making this move
I would have to ponder it long and hard

Agreed, especially for the youngest of our 4. Unless the other player involved is Kobe or something, that we can make an exception for. But the older our frontline gets, the more pressing need we have for good young bigs.
We can always send a big in return... but seriously, one of the big 4, and we need a center in return. Or a real solid 4.
