05/06 Pistons better then 07/08 Celtics

05/06 Pistons 31-5 (37-5)
07/08 Celtics 30-6

But we all knew that. Maybe they got cocky after pulling out the win in the last minute in Detroit.

No one denies that Celtics are a very good team, but they were never going to be the GOAT. Althought some of the calls they get would make you think otherwise.

Everyone (besides Cetlic fans) knew they would hit a slump once their schedule actually got somewhat difficult. They've lost 3 out of 5 and back to back home games.

Maybe we should put Celtic fans on suicide watch, they've been awfully quiet lately.

Seriously, they will end the season with 60+ wins and most likely be the 1st seed. But as Phoenix, Dallas, and Detroit can tell you.... 60+ wins don't equal a championship.

Hopefully this will bring some of those celtics fans heads back down to earth.

Records aside, the two teams strike me as very similar. Detroit had a terrific, balanced starting 5 that played a ton of minutes and a relatively weak bench. Boston has a terrific Big 3 that play a ton of minutes, two decent starters, and a relatively weak bench.

Both teams started the year with uncommon focus and intensity. Detroit hit some rough patches and REALLY slowed down by the end of the year, something I think is likely to happen to Boston if things continue.

another factor is that we started with a new offesnive system from Saunders, that basically made all scouting reports on us obselete. Its kind of the same with them, the Celts are SO vastly different from last year that nobody really knows how to play them. The games will get tougher as new reports are generated as teams start to put the pieces together and figure out what works and what doesn't. They'll end up with like 64 or 65 wins imo.

Don't forget another similarity... Doc Rivers and Flip Saunders are both douchebag coaches.

The original Uncle Mxy version is much better than the remix IMNSHO.
