Not sure what he said to his assistant coach, but he is in the doghouse a bit in Chicago. I like the guys energy, would be nice to get him on our team. Any possible trade thoughts?

I would much rather have a 4/5 prospect than a 3/4 prospect, but I cant anything like this happening. Good young prospects dont usually get traded for one another, particularly in the same division, even if neither has shown all that much so far.

Unless they think Amir is a power forward, between Deng and Nocioni they dont need him.

Chicago has to be stunned about this season - picked as a possibly Eastern champ to now, maybe not even making the playoffs. If I were Joe, I'd be sniffing around to see if they make a stupid decision around the trade deadline.

Joakim is much more polished than Amir, in fact it's not even close. Three years in college and two championship runs will do that for you.
When was the last time Amir played in an important game? California high school state championship?


As long as Joakim wouldn't be a cancer in the locker room his toughness and hustle is just what the Pistons need. With the number of veterans that the Pistons have I doubt he'd be a problem at all.
However it won't happen.

& the guy still can't score from outside 5ft. What does that tell you? atleast theres hope for amir to become a offensive & defensive threat 1 day.

Noah probably won't be nothing more than a hyped up sideshow bob clone. A great glue guy & a needed hustle player that might help you win a title but never a major piece.

I would rather go after tyrus thomas but with amir already on the roster theres no point. Thomas reminds me of kenyon martin before the injuries. If he had playing time & a decent playmaking pg he would be a all-star. It's crazy how thomas(a 2nd pick loaded with athleticism) is roting on the bench on a 14-22 team. I can't believe how the bulls are falling apart before they really even got started

So just because he is more polished you would trade for and play him over developing Amir? I most certainly would not.

What does Noah bring to the table? Rebounding, hustle, shot-blocking, and the ability to score within 5 feet.

Amir brings the exact same skill set except he's younger, has more potential, doesnt bitch out assistants and get suspended (by his teamates no less), can shoot from deep and doesnt have the shooting form of a 3 year old.

Ill take Amir every time, and would rather have him playing right now

Bulls interim coach Jim Boylan and forward Luol Deng denied that rookie Joakim Noah and veteran Ben Wallace got into an argument after the team's blowout loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.

The Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald reported that Noah and Wallace had to be separated by Deng in the locker room in Orlando.''I know all about it,'' Boylan said. ``There was no argument. I don't know why it was reported that way. A couple of things were said but there was no confrontation, there was no going after each other, there [were] no angry words. I spoke to both guys together this morning and they laughed about it, they can't believe it was reported like that. I find it disappointing that it's put in the paper without being really substantiated in any way.''

Noah has been enmeshed in controversy for nearly a week. He initially was suspended one game after a verbal confrontation with Bulls assistant coach Ron Adams. Bulls players then voted to extend Noah's suspension by a game and Boylan approved the punishment.

I'm not a fan of Noah, but I definitely see the Bulls as a great target to trade with.

Joe D is great at playing the NBA stock market. You gotta buy low and sell high... know when to hold um and when to trade um.

With the season the Bulls are having it could be the perfect time to get a good deal on a stock that is low

John Paxson has not made an in-season trade since Nov 2003.

He may make one this year, but dont bet on it.

In my opinion, the only Bull being shopped is Ben Wallace - and the Bulls may have to add some young talent to a trade to dump Ben. In that case, any other player would be available.

However, no one is being shopped alone. They would be available only if a team takes Wallace

We know Detroit will not be an option. In fact, there are very few options. So the odds are that there probably will not be any Bulls trades

There were a lot of expectations for this team.

The team has improved the last several seasons, but has taken a huge step back and that is certainly a sign of a trade occurring.

I actually would drop $100 that Chicago makes a trade before the deadline.

I'm scared to take that bet.

Logically you are right - a trade is long overdue for a number of reasons.

However, Paxson has shown a reluctance to trade. He still has all his draft choices & all his free agent signings. The only player acquired in a "trade" was Khryapa, who was acquired as part of the Tyrus/Aldridge swap.

So I am not confident that Pax will actually make a trade.

If noah is moved, there is no way that WE are Chicago's trading partners, unless we offered up something great (overpaying) like Amir or Tay or something.
