There have been reports that there has been discussion of a trade between Chicago and New York.

With the key players being Ben Wallace for QRich, Fred Jones, and Malik Rose.

What's everyone's thought on this?

In before 5000 people trash Ben

I hope the rumors come true. IMO Ben would be happier there. NY fans would not blame him for not winning a ring.

I like the trade for NY also.

Maybe Ben could help get a little more out of Curry/Randolph?

Yep He would shame those two into trying to play a TEAM game.

I could see something like this happening. Chicago is desperate to get rid of Ben. Also Randolph and Curry don't rebound, but both are solid low post scorers. Finally Ben is a workout machine and I wonder if the Knicks would home some of that might rub off.

Finally Ben's contract wouldn't be an issue in NY because they don't worry about the luxury tax, whereas it's an anchor in Chicago because they refuse to pay the tax.

I hope for Ben's sake this trade happens.

Would this end any talk of Artest to the Knicks? Or has Ben and Ronnie squashed that issue?

My thoughts? I don't give a crap. In my opinion the Bulls are officially a non-factor in the EC at this point no matter what they do. Not that I'd care what they did anyway, non-factor or not.

All the talk of Ron Ron going home was out of his mouth.

Ron has squashed that issue but that issue will never be squashed from Ben's point of view.

I kind of want him to stay in Chicago as it is quite entertaining to read all the angst on the Bull's board.

Ill agree. Im not going to care when one non-factor team makes a deal with another non-factor team just because it involves somebody who used to play for us.

That said, I dont think it really effects the Knicks or Bulls much either way. Ben just doesnt have the impact on the game that he used to. Such a deal could be a prelude to Randolph or Curry leaving New York.

Their attitude sure has changed. I was just reading the official announcement thread from '06.

I bumped that thread and they quickly locked it!

I guess they'd rather try to forget their mistakes than learn from them...

Alrighty then, but I'll have to stick to lurking most times so as not to be branded a troll. I do post there at times if I might have something useful to add to a topic.

BTW Thanks for the great salary site and hope the job search works out well.

I didn't see a thing. If only Justin T could have been that quick we would not have to suffer through boring Super Bowl halftime shows on tape delay.
