Sheed is so awesome, he gets to the All-Star game even when he doesn't want to go

Nice - the commish giving Sheed some love. I wouldn't mind seeing him get some rest, but always nice to have your players recognized. He, Rip & Chauncey will have a good time.

Heh- looks like 'Sheed is gonna have to cancel his vacation plans. Well, at least we won't have to worry about him getting a big head about this. He's probably cussing out Garnett as I type this lol.

I hope this doesn't go to their heads.
Still the potential of seeing sheed clowning Rip before, during, and after the three point shoot out is tempting.

Get ready for hate from all the fans of other teams telling us Sheed didn't deserve it and we don't deserve 3 all-stars.

I like it for no other reason that it will further PO the Orlando fans.
It makes for some good reading.

Look who's going to be an All-Star afterall. Rasheed Wallace has campaigned hard for the four-day break over All-Star weekend, but he's not going to get it. David Stern has just announced that Wallace will be replacing the injured Kevin Garnett on the East squad.
It will be Wallace's fourth All-Star appearance, his second as a Piston. Obviously, I will have more on this in the Detroit News and on detnews.com later. Just thought I would give you a heads-up.

I can't believe it's not Ray Allen. But it's David Stern who announces the replacements. Duh.

The league is expected to announce some time today that Rasheed Wallace is going to replace Kevin Garnett on the Eastern Conference All-star team.
This is a decision that, frankly, isn't going to go over well with many. Wallace has spent the last couple of weeks letting anyone with a microphone or pen and pad, know that he would much rather spend that weekend hanging out with family, then being in the All-star game.
And the Celtics, which has been the runaway team in the league this year, will only have one All-star.

unless Ray can play Center off the bench, I don't know why you're complaining. Hedo and Calderon deserve it more than him anyway.

3 Pistons, 1 Celtic.
It does feel good, no?

LOL, this is great. Mostly because it puts Boston, Toronto, and Orlando fans on suicide watch. This totally made my day.

So East should've gone in with only 2 big men and none off the bench? Face the facts, it was going to be either Sheed or Big Z.

Stern was obviously sticking it to Sheed. He could have sent Ilgauskas even
