The Zoo Crew?

Post#1 » by the_l_train » Mon Feb 11, 2008 6:44 pm

i dont know how i could have possibly missed this, but why is our bench unit called the "zoo crew"?

I understood the idea behind the alternatorz, thanks to jon barry, but the zoo crew? can someone explain the reason, and who started this?

Because that is what Captain Chauncey said they should be called.

He said "They are like caged animals waiting to get out on the court".

They're a bunch of energizing animals waiting to get out of their cages (the bench) and run wild (on the court).

Now you are going to get Chauncey in trouble, Flip just read that and is burning up Joe D's cell telling him to get Mo Evans back before the deadline. :D

Orlando traded its MVP (Ariza) for Mo and trash. No way we have the pieces to get him.

The Belle Isle Nature Zoo I guess. The 'Detroit Zoo' is actually in Royal Oak, the 'Detroit Pistons' are in Auburn Hills, and the 'Detroit Lions' are in the gutter.
