It seems like Lebron is a little upset with Cleveland not making a move to get Jason Kidd or Mike Bibby.

Lebron basically admitting they cakewalked it to the finals last year.

um, he's not actually saying that, he's referring to the 'disrespect' his team gets, by listing off all the things people say to not give his team credit for last year's performance.

See him referring to Washington's injuries or the "easy side" of the bracket.

Which would lead me to believe he thinks that they really aren't that good.

Unless someone took his quote out of context and put it into that article to make it look like he was displeased with him team.

Lebron has already publiclu, in the press, gone out and told the Cavs brass to do certain moves and to get him better players.... that's just not speculation....alrighty?

I have never blamed the refs for the Pistons losing against the Cavs last year.... and I haven't said that the Pistons didn't WANT to beat them.... Boobie hit open threes, Varejao got Sheed and Dice out of the game, Billups was getting trapped across the timeline and Lebron went off for a good fourth quarter and OT...... don't lump everyone into one group.

And Im sorry if you arent among those using the arguments a sited above. But what exactly did you mean then, by "he knows what happened in the ECFs". It sounded like an allusion to one of those above arguments, but if it wasn't, than what was it? It sounded like you meant something other than the simple fact that we were outplayed and outcoached.

Of course he knows itll be very tough to repeat as an Eastern Conference champion. If you got that I was implying otherwise from my post, then you misread it.

But I still dont think he'd repeat criticisms others have weighed on his team in a non-ironic way just because he's unhappy about the lack of trades for the Cavs this season. Just because he knows he'll have an really rough battle in the playoffs doesnt mean he'd make a statement like that.

LeBron James needs help, and he's unhappy about not getting it.

He was being sarcastic--it says so right in the article itself. It's being played right now on ESPN Radio in its entirety and it's pretty pathetic how horribly misinterpreted this whole thing got.

That's not to say he doesn't think the Cavs aren't doing enough to help him, but the part about "Detroit not beating us" and all that was totally tongue in cheek. Like he was saying how the Cavs get so little respect from the national media and such. That's why he mentioned San Antonio too--because when was the last time you heard anything about them either and they're the defending champs? He's pointing out how ironic it is that the two teams in last year's finals are given almost no credit or chance to get back there again.
