Primoz appreciation thread

Post#1 » by Phobo_Phile » Thu Feb 21, 2008 10:52 pm

You helped us get Nazr of our books (though he just suddenly became the player we always wanted him to be)

You dove into the bench a couple of times.

You look extremely pale with a touch of roseacia.

You were really tall.

You wanted to retire here but didnt even last half of a season.

You blew hot on your hands constantly (you apparently have really bad circulation)

Thanks for the memories.

We will miss you Primoz

Does this mean he'll have to run to Tim Hortons before each game instead of Starbucks?

The day when thousands of Piston fans gave you a rousing ovation and chanted your name of "Darko! Darko!", even though your name was Primoz and you acknowledge them anyhow.

That was the day when I joined the Brezec Bunch.

I'd put him in the top 10 franchise history for internationally born centers.

Somebody might want to hold back Herrmann's hair before he gets his salty tears into that long flowing blonde mane.

The only thing to make this complete is for a Raptors fan asking where he could find a Primoz Brezec Pistons jersey.

Primoz a stand up guy. He'd be my 6th man on my all time piston roster

Primoz was happy to be here and wanted to be a Piston for Life, what a straight up gangsta.

I'm sure Joe worked out a deal that will see Primo cut, only to re-sign in 30 days. You don't just TRADE away talent like that.

Too bad Popovich didn't have his trade committee in place to block such a steal by the Raptors. :noway:

Primo Brezec either reads DBB or has a good sense of NBA history. From DetNews:
