Who do ya want in the second round?
Cleveland or Orlando?
I'm actually thinking this one won't be close.

Rip Hamilton is a stain on the Pistons franchise.

exactly
I hope the top 4 spots stay as they are
I think the Pistons would have to go 6 games to beat the Magic. If they bring back Dale Davis, that's another big body to bother Howard
I think Cleveland improved significantly, but not necessarily because of Ben Wallace. I think Joe Smith will be very effective for them. Also, Wally can really light it up from the outside when he gets hot. I still think the Celts would handle them in 6 or 7 in a series though. I'm not sure the Pistons would beat them, I'm feeling 60/40 advancing if they played

Yea, I really don't want Cleveland, the easier it is to get to the finals, the better. Lebron in the playoffs is even better than Lebron in the regular season, and thats scary.
We can beat Orlando, Howard is still young, and Lewis and Turk can be slowed down. And beyond that, nobody on that roster is really any good, our backcourt should have a field day.

I'm with you on this. It's a weird poll when I think about it. Would we want the Pistons to win a championship by having played the weakest possible teams? No. Make it as tough as possible--then appreciate them if they pull through.

I disagree, and fear has nothing to do with it.
Its about getting where you want to be (the ECF and NBA Finals), and also in doing so in the fewest number of games. Id gladly sacrifice an opportunity for revenge if it betters our chances, and IMO it would.

I kinda wanna see how well Cleveland gels, but my initial response is that I'd like to avoid LeBron if possible. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm afraid of him, but I do think he probably presents a more difficult matchup for us. I know at least one person that will disagree, but I want the easiest path possible to the ECF so we are well rested, healthy and confident when we go up against presumably Boston. I mean, that's the whole point of the regular season. It's why you play 82 games - so you can get that favorable seeding and have the easier path to the Finals.
You think anybody out West is going "Boy, I sure do hope we can face SA, Phx AND the Lakers so we can prove ourselves!" Hell no lol. IF you win the championship you'll be tested plenty and have to beat some very good teams - no reason to make it tougher than it needs to be. Thats bordering on blatant stupidity. What's next, telling Sheed to only shoot 3's so that we can prove we're good enough to *still* win? No thanks. Don't need any more challenges or handicaps. Let's just quietly take care of business, thank you very much.

Yeah, but for some reason, Dooling and Bogans get wide eyes when they play the Pistons
