The Bulls - Drop 135 pts in first game without Ben...

They drop 135 in a big win over the Nuggets.

This team has been one of the most terrible offensive teams in the NBA.

Their starting front line of Nocioni, Thomas, and Noah shot 24-36 for 53 pts.

Talk about addition by subtraction.

Yeah, I saw the boxscore. Whats up with Deng coming off the bench and only playing 20 min? Is he coming off an injury or just in the doghouse? He's s'posed to be their #1 guy.

Keeping his FA value down...

Paxson saw how it worked for Dumars on Amir :)

Deng's missed 12 of the last 14 games with injuries. He'll probably start within the next 2 games.

Tyrus and Noah, the guys who should get the biggest benefit from the removal of Ben and Smith started and combined for 32/21/7/5/3

This is Bulls most points since they scored 140 against the Nets in...1991

Bulls also scored at least 30 in each quarter & had 100 in 3 quarters.

All starters scored in double figures.

I still keep reading the transactions to convince myself that Ben was actually traded. It seems like a dream

New guy Hughes just turned 29 last month & is now the oldest Bull.

What wins championships again?

It's funny how the Cavs are saying the same thing about LH.
Both teams seem to want to forget about the odious contract they had to take back to get rid of said players.

I'm sorry, but the Bulls are just a mess. I always saw them as overachievers the last few years. They may not be as bad as they've played this year, but I don't think they're a whole lot better. The talent just isn't there.

To be fair, we were playing great defensively, but at the end JR Smith just start throwing up stuff that was going in.

When I saw the score to that Bulls/Nuggets game I was amazed. Was anyone playing DEFENSE? A game like this would have probably killed Larry Brown or Rick Carlisle...Each team scored over 125 points!!!

Noah & Tyrus were playing against Camby - the DPOY. That is why their stat lines are impressive for this game
