I hope Sheed sits out again. Chicago isn't a threat (even though they've beaten us every game this year) and Thomas always goes off on Sheed. I'd like to see Amir head to head with Tyrus.

Never take this team lightly, they've owned the Pistons this season so far. I watched them take apart Cleveland the other day. Considering the Seattle and New York games I don't think our guys should take anyone for granted.

Might I add that it's McDyess who should sit rather than Sheed. He's been playing like poo lately and looks like he could use a rest.

We went 1-3 vs. them last year, so ill predict the win to go 1-3 vs. them this year.

but a loss wouldnt surprise me

They are one game out of a playoff spot. We might have to meet them there.

Thank god this game will be broadcasted on FSN instead of WB. WB is garbage; they always screw something up.

Detroit has lost four in a row, and five of the last six, to Chicago. ... Former Pistons Ben Wallace and Joe Smith were traded on Feb. 21 to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons and former Michigan State guard Shannon Brown. The Bulls are 4-5 since the trade, while the Cavs are 6-3.

For the most part, the tough chunks of the Pistons' schedule are now behind them. They finished their final multiple-game road trip Friday night in New York with a win over the Knicks. They return to the Palace to play their next five games -- as well as 13 of the final 20. But not all the challenges are finished. In those 13 home games, they'll play title contenders San Antonio, Phoenix, Cleveland and New Orleans. They'll also host likely playoff teams Denver, New Jersey, Washington, Toronto and (perhaps) Philadelphia. They still have two trips to Cleveland to take care of as well as road trips to play the Raptors and Wizards.

"There's no question we're a little bit tired," coach Flip Saunders said. "... But just because we're going home doesn't mean anything. We're playing good teams at home. We've got to come and play. But the main thing is we can get into a rhythm at home and get back into our rituals."

That includes practice time, which has been in short supply with all the travel and subsequent rest. The Pistons played seven of their last nine on the road."It feels like we're on that West Coast swing," forward Tayshaun Prince said Friday. "It seems like we never went home. ... It's definitely good to get that finished and get that out of the way. We've got a good stretch of games here at home, so hopefully we can take care of business and get a couple of practices in with Theo (Ratliff) and learn some of the plays."

Chicagos frontline always gives us trouble. Now you add Gooden to Deng, Nocioni, Tyrus & Noah? We're gonna need to get some big contributions from the likes of Maxiell, Amir & hopefully Theo.

It would be nice if Tay decided to show up again, too.

Would like to see Dyess go back to his money shot from the 1st 2 years we had him. I wonder why he stopped using it. JoeD should also let him get a few games off before the playoffs. Seems a little tired/burnt out or something.

Isn't T Thomas suspended? Chi energy from front line kills us. Hate playing the bulls in the rs. Reminds me of the pistons from 01-04.

bring on chi in the 1st
cle in the 2nd
bos in the 3rd
& to top it off, utah for the finals

Whats up Ya'll? Just thaught I'd chime in. My un-inspired, pathetic, mis-guided team will be playing the best team in the East a night after playing the 2nd best. I always love this game, but being from michigan and a Bulls fan is not an easy thing to do. AJAX I expect a call later, either hailing victory or weeping in shame. Anyway, goodluck and may the better team lose.

oh if you dont mind can you offer a non bias critique of young Joakim Noah...hes caught some Bull's fans eyes lately and I cant determine if its false hope.

Peace

I just left the Pistons' morning shoot-around, and it looks like a decision on whether Rasheed Wallace's will play won't be made until shortly before tip-off.

However, I'd be very surprised if we saw him on the floor tonight against the Bulls.

With no games on Monday and Tuesday, I suspect Detroit will try to use as much time as possibe in an effort to ensure his sprained left ankle has had enough healing time. I suspect he'll be back for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia or Friday's against San Antonio.

I have to believe that we wont get swept by this team this year.

They added a couple of guys we struggle against in Gooden and Hughes, though, so you never know.

I can probably hook you up with that I'll be watching him closely since he's on my fantasy team. He's been balling lately.

If he gets more than 2 turnovers though...
