I'd say it's in the bottom 5. Like 11th or 12th without looking at every team in detail. Though looking at some of those frontcourts, I'm not exactly shaking in my boots.

Remember that (for most people) frontcourt includes the small forward position.

Not very highly. But the top 3 are the only ones with scary front courts. We'll hold our own most nights.

Defensively we are close to the bottom.

Offensively remains to be seen, but we won't be super strong there either.

Top 3?
1.boston (KG, Sheed, perkins)
2.orlando (dwight, gortat, bass, rashard)
3.cleveland (shaq, big z, varejoke)

ehhh...

I say the Pistons have the #1 front court hands down now. Check it:

C Vill > KG
Brown > Perkins
Wilcox > Sheed

C Vill > Dwight
Brown > Gortat
Wilcox > Lewis
Maxiell > Bass

C Vill > Big Z
Daye > Shaq
Maxiell > Varejao

See, that was easy! All you had to do was type it out...

Only ahead of New York. And even that could be debatable. Does NYK keep D.Lee?
Rip Hamilton is a stain on the Pistons franchise.

The Brand +Dally forncourt is overrated

Charlotte Bobcats don;t have good backups of Okafor n Diaw

Wasinhgton don't have good backups too. And both Jamison n Haywood are aging. Blatche has a lot to prove, he was rather disappointing last season

Raptors have Bargnani n Bosh. But Bargnani is too soft, and is not good enough down the paint on both end. Both Bosh n Bargnani aren't good defenders, O'Bryant needs to prove something next season

NY have Milicic n Eddy curry who are only there becoz of their expiring contracts. Both are bad. Harrington is good, but if D.Lee is leaving their frontcourt do not look impressive at all. Jordon Hill looks very average to me from what i've seen in VSL

1) Boston (KG, Sheed, Perkins, Big Baby)
2) Orlando (D.Howard, Gortat, Bass, Lewis)
3) Cleveland (Big Z., Shaq, Varejao)
4) Atlanta (Horford, Smith, M.Williams, zaza)
5) Toronto (Bosh, Bargnani, P .O'Bryant)
6) NJ (Yi, Lopez, Boone, S.Williams) - prosperous, with good size!
7) Detroit (Kwame, Villanueva, Wilcox, Max)
8) Miami (Beasley, JO, Haslem)
9) Charlotte (Okafor, Diaw, Nazr, Diop)
10) Philadelphia (Dalembert, Spreights, Brand)
11) Washington (Haywood, Jamison, Blatche)
12) NY (Lee, Harrington, Milicic, J.Hill)
13) Indiana (Murphy, Foster, Hibbert)
14) Chicago (Tyrus Thomas, Miller, Noah)
15 Milwaukee (Amir, K.Thomas, Bogut)

I think people sleep on Indiana's frontcourt because the overall team doesn't win. But Troy Murphy, Jeff Foster and Roy Hibbert are all good players and have played well in Indiana. It's more of the backcourt problems holding Indiana back than their frontcourt.

You left quite a few names off that list OP.

For instance, you left Blatche/McGee off of Washington's FC

etc

You guys are putting ours way to high. Our 4/5 players are not the strength of the team. NYK clearly have the worst, you are crazy to think otherwise (Lee wont be there). Indiana is underrated, Philly overrated

Agreed. I think their frontcourt is easily better than ours.

So we'll be arround 9th-11th

We should be better than NYK, Milwaukee n Chicago's frontcourt

Maybe similar to Philadelphia, Miami n Charlotte's

U guys are right Indiana n Washington should hv better frontcourt. But i hv a feeling that Blatche is not ready to step up yet. n last season, he was disappointing

Either I'm in a particularly bad mood, or this board has become insanely optimistic. I see many frontcourts there that are way better than ours, and I only see Knicks frontcourt (if Lee is gone) as clearly behind ours.

Well, I can say we are definitely better than Milwaukee (depends on how well will İlyasova perform, still we are pretty ahead of them imo) and New York. Chicago, New Jersey and Washington are close too. But other teams are easily better than us right now.

Bogut alone makes Milwaukee's front court better than ours.

^ I disagree. Bogut is decent, but he's nothing special, even when he's healthy. Milwaukees 2nd best frontcourt player is.....? anyone? Elson? Thomas? Gadz? Amir? They might be the single worst frontcourt in the NBA, even worst tham Kwame/Max/CV/Wilcox. Definitely worst than Darko/Harrington/Lee.
