I have a co worker who is from Philadelphia and he told me that Nick Foles is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning. He said that both Manning and Foles were the first quarterbacks in 50 years to throw for 7 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Ecept that it took Manning 16 years to accomplish this feat and it took Foles only 2 years to accomplish it. He feels that Foles is the real deal and that will eventually be a better quarterback than Manning. I seriously think that my co worker has some kind of head trauma. What does everyone else think?

foles has a better record in playoffs, your co worker is clearly right

Is it theoretically possible that Nick Foles will have a better career than Peyton Manning? Yes. It's about as likely as Andy Reid becoming an underwear model, though.

Foles was incredible and a pleasant surprise for the Eagles but Manning is far better.

That's pretty poor reasoning. Manning's resume speaks for itself, regardless of timeline.

I forgot I was here because the thread title is so weird

I am from Philly and love my Eagles but that guy doesnt know anything about QBs. Peyton is the better QB put him in any system and he will succeed. Foles is only effective in the right system. He had success with Chip Kellys and Doug Pedersons sytem but failed in the Rams system.

Ill admit the Eagles had a better arsenal of talent than Peyton ever had but Peyton has won Super Bowls with less and that makes him much better.

Ditto what the poster above me said. The name Nick Foles will be immortalized in Philly, but he's obviously not a top 3-5 QB of all time. Peyton is.
