I wonder how many people think it's reasonable to not have Brady as the GOAT, and if so, which other quarterbacks have an argument over him.

If you go purely by their best season and penalise him loads for having randy moss in his best season and elite starting field position then Manning, Rodgers, Marino, Mahomes, Cam newton(?) all have the sort of talent angel then you look at like peak winning performances and you can throw Montana, Young, Warner maybe?
I'm new to the NFL, this list is mostly from that guy Barry mcockiner, who is probably a bit too harsh on Brady has decent arguments. Feels slightly inconsistent but eh I get what he's saying

I can see why some might argue that Brady's best season was boosted by having Randy Moss and favorable field position.
I think it's interesting to consider both peak talent and winning performances when evaluating QBs. The list you provided - Manning, Rodgers, Marino, Mahomes, Cam Newton, Montana, Young, and Warner - is a great starting point.

Can see the case for Mahomes and Rodgers. Not really for anyone else.

Can’t go below 2. Unless you really appreciate peak (for like 5-6 years) then possibly Marino, but Brady’s real contention is Manning. Brady has it all, the GOAT
