it did, it brushed his sleeve, and that's all it has to do. Not like the sox wouldn't have won this game anyway. 1-2 is better then 0-3.

No I saw that it hit him. The ball like curved into him at the last second.

yeah, from the front you couldn't see it, but from the side camera you clearly see it hit his sleeve, which counts as a hit by pitch.

One thing is certain, it was nice to finally see the Sox hold the tribe to only 3 runs today. Despite the injury to Buerhle, the bullpen held up nicely. Hopefully they won't get overworked this month.
