Though if I had to pick one guy to win me one game, I want Elway--and Montana probably goes below Favre in that regard too.

1. Elway (im biased but I think he's the best all-time, best arm, with the most wins all time I want him with the game on the line)
2. Montana (great QB no doubt, but got to play with the greatest receiver of all time and a great team overall)
3. Favre (good QB will probably have the most wins all time this year along with a lot of other records, but he is about 5 INT's away from the most thrown all time not a great record to have)
4. Young

You have to remember favre never had a super great WR ever in his career so thats why i would put him one notch above some qb's.

Sterling Sharpe was pretty good.

sharpe was good and antonio freeman and robert brooks seemed to make a pretty good combo (though brooks only had a couple good seasons)

I think you nailed it pretty much on the head there. I would have loved to have Elway at QB, he played on teams that were nowhere near as good as what Montana and Young had in San Franciso. Not to take anything away from either, they were both great QBs, but Elway played with more heart than anyone I've ever seen. I would switch Farve and Young in your rankings, because I think Young was much more consistent through his entire career than Farve is, and I think Young played much better thoughout his career when the game was on the line than Farve ever has.

This would be the correct list, and it's sad to see how underrated Young is.

All I have to say is WOW! To put Young ahead of Montana and Elway is just amazing. Not to mention how have we forgotten other past greats such as Namath and Bradshaw.

Neither Namath or Bradshaw were great per se.

Was that a subconscious swipe at Tedy Bruschi?
