Since the Pirates forum gets no activity, I'm gonna post this question here. Has Nady always had potential to be the player he is this season on the Pirates and just didn't get the chance to do it in NY and San Diego or is this possibly just a one year type thing?

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

He's not playing particularly well, he's just slugging the sh*t out of the ball. He's always had this power potential, he's just never been consistent enough at the plate to have it translate into a more well-rounded approach.

X Man had some very nice pop on the Mets and he was very good for us, that's why we dominated lefties early last year but he is a liability in the field.
