I'd say so. At least so far this year. It's too bad he wasted two of his years in Oakland. But at the same time he may not be playing this well right now without the Oakland experience.

Yeah, he is, and I said so for the last few years, but everyone insisted his athleticism had fallen off so bad that he was average

There is a reason why I selected him 3rd in my fantasy draft. He has always been a freak and I've experienced it first hand ever since his rookie year against Dallas.

My thoughts exactly.
Even over the past two years as he was rotting in Oakland I said he was the best wide receiver in the NFL. I had several TO vs Moss arguments with Cowboys fans and I still do.

So far in the season, I would say yes. He has an insane catch rate and is a precise route runner with good speed. He seems to be alwasy open, he can run the short routes or the deep routes. Granted the pats are only going to play bad secondarys all year excluding the Redskins.

Yes, and he is playing with by far, the best QB of his career. Maybe the best in the league. This will be a career year for him. Its obvious at this point hes better than any receiver by far in the league.

Just for the record I'm not one of these fans. (:
I agree Moss is a better pass catcher than TO.

Is there even a doubt Moss is the most physically gifted receiver ever?

Physically I'd have to give that to Calvin Johnson. His size, speed, strength, and overall athleticism are unmatched as a total package. TO may have something to say about that, but going by the numbers it's Calvin.

Agreed, I don't think TO or Moss beat Calvin in that regard, though Moss would win the pure speed competition, and the best hands IMO.
Calvin is bigger, stronger, faster etc than TO.

In terms of speed and hands package, Randy Moss is probably the best QB that I've ever seen. Ever.
Calvin Johnson just might be the complete physical package though.

Measurements arent = to Game. Could Calvin get there? Sure, but until he shows it for at least a couple seasons i dont think its fair to put him there. Randy at a younger age proved it right away. A guy can measure out to whatever he wants, he also has to show it in a game.

You asked which player was the most physically gifted, not who applied their gifts to the field better.

he's ok but i prefer my quarterbacks to be 6'5 230 pounds with laser rocket arms.

How is he stronger? TO is shredded.

Have you seen Calvin Johnson? He's pretty ripped himself...
6'5 240> 6'3 225

If Calvin isn't stronger, wait until he gets a season or two of NFL weight training under his belt. I know Roddy White got huge after his rookie season and he's no Calvin Johnson.
