Terrence Cody DT/NT?

Post#1 » by Elway=GOAT » Mon Sep 29, 2008 10:26 am

Anyone see this cat play? He looks good, real good. But he is really, I mean really FAT. Guy is about 350-360 and claims to have once weighed as much as 420 pounds. Saban is demanding that he loses more weight. But he is very athletic for a guy his size, he is also a game changer is far as the run goes.

Anyone know where he might go at this point, he played a couple years of JC ball. So this is his first year with the "big boys" of college and he is looking pretty good. Alittle inconsistant, but a play maker, 2 down player for alot of teams. Looks like a prototypical NT. I wouldnt mind seein him in a Broncos jersey, just someone who can stuff the damn run.

Where does he go, and Iceness what is you're opinion of this guy?

He's extremely powerful, pushes around any combo of two guys that are put up against him, and he has a real good motor, pretty good technique for a guy without much high level experience.

if I were a 3-4 team, I'd be taking him with my pick, and I'd even take him as a 4-3 guy if I couldn't find great value elsewhere.

He's really good IMO, he hasn't disappointed yet.

Conditioning might be an issue, but he seems like a pretty driven guy, and he's so quick for his size and power, he's hard to pass.

He's been pretty impressive. He's lost a lot of weight already which is incredible for a guy that's 350 plus.

We'll see if he declares but if he does he's a sure fire 1st rounder if everything else checks out.

The offseason is going to be huge for him. If he declares and shows up to Indy in shape he could be a top ten pick. If conditioning is an issue he could drop the way Alan Branch did two years ago. But like Branch, he's been a monster.

Probably the biggest reason Alan Branch dropped was because of an undisclosed injury. He was rumored to have something wrong with his back I believe.

I thought there was something wrong with Branch's shin? The Skins probably would have taken him last year.
