I've had that since August. And there's concrete evidence behind it, that's why so many have it that way.

I just can't see it. No one in Jacksonville really believes it will happen, except for delusional Gator fans. Gene Smith has come out and said we won't draft for marketing purposes, and given how successful his draft is this year, I'd like to believe he will pick the best players..not the best ticket sellers.

While at one point I did think Tebow could be the pick, this was before the season when people expected him to improve based on the fact that he was only taking one class this year and really only had football to focus on and improve his game. Instead, he looks like he regressed from the standpoint of being a QB.

Ideally, I'd like to give him a shot...in the 4th round. But nowhere near the 1st round...

Arrelious Benn officially in the draft.

I think he's WAY undervalued by a lot of people. Not his fault he had one of the worst throwing QBs in the country throwing him the football.

Good to see you have him in the first round. Is he being underrated by a lot of people in your opinion Jeff?

I think he's solidly the #2 WR talent in this draft behind Dez Bryant. My main knocks on him are that his speed is long and not sudden, and that he doesn't always play to his size. It's hard to knock him for on-field numbers and action because like you said his QB absolutely stunk. He's a more complete package than LaFell or Damian Williams. He gets helped by the fact that Vontae Davis had more severe character and attitude questions than Benn (his are pretty minor) and he's been great for Miami.

Back to Tebow & JAX for a sec: I think Gene Smith is going to gamble that Tebow will still be on the board in the 30-40 range and will trade up to get him there, or trade down from the 17-22 range where they're going to wind up and take him there. Like Speedy said, Gene Smith is not a fool and won't take Tebow just for marketing purposes. But I do see Tebow being more successful than most people and the marketing angle is a very legit pressure. Would JAX rather have Tebow and keep the Jags or pass on him and have no team in 2-3 years? Wayne Weaver knows he can make $50M a year profit in LA with a lousy team; he's going to lose anywhere between $5-$15M in JAX this year depending on who you believe.

Jeff, I'm loving the 49ers first round on the new mock. Haden is the best cover corner in the draft and they need someone of his caliber. As for Iupati, I think he's the best guard in the draft. He's very nasty in run blocking. Staley and Iupati on the left side of the line is my dream.

I think they should take a pass rusher somewhere in the first 3 rounds though but overall, I like it.
