You have them taking Pike in the first round is that because you think favre's retiring or coming back
or will they just go best available

I don't think it matters if Favre stays or goes. I know they like Pike and he fits more with the kind of offense Chilly wants to run than what TJax does. If Favre plays another year that just means Pike gets extra time to learn the offense. Pike might not last that long though, and I don't see them arbitrarily taking a QB in the 1st or 2nd.

I do think Favre is coming back, FYI.

Bears taking a LB?

They have Briggs and Urlacher. They resigned Pisa. Hillenmeyer, Roach, and Williams range from capable starter to solid back up, and Tim Shaw is a special teams beast. Where's the room?

not a fan for the bears, we need a RT, but I dont think in the 3rd, we need a run blocking guard and FS B4 either of those picks IMO

Overall I'd be happy with that draft from the Pats, so with the Pats history I'm sure it has no chance of happening.

Im having a gut feeling (today).....

The pats will take Jermaine Gresham. Pats have a history of drafting tight ends in the first round/Gresham is the type of Te that i've always thought would work well on the pats/Perfect player to fall in the patriots lap after injury concerns/The pats need a TE for the future.

Knowing all that, considering how much that makes too sense to happen... it probably wont. So i'll call the real pick a few hours before the draft.

Expect a RB early too. They have scheduled private meetings with Spiller, Mathews, Best, and Dwyer in Indy. Just heard that from an eminently reliable person. Spiller is meeting with the Texans, Bucs, and Packers too, among others I'm sure.

I'd hope they look at wr before tight end, or even running back. Any meetings with mardy gilliard?

I'm hoping for DE to replace the Seymour spot or a pass rushing OLB with the first round pick. Then in the second round grab the one you didn't in the first round, a wide reciever, and a running back.

the seahawks messed up. they shouldve taken sanchez. i like clausen better than bradford, because bradford looks like a stick. easily broken. but clausen vs. bradford is a debate that should not even be in play. because sanchez is 10xs better than both of them.

Dolphins ecstatically say thank you very much to Dez Bryant, but pass on Owens in round two in favor of Sean Weatherspoon or Eric Norwood. I'd then respectfully pass on Arenas (don't quite need another corner with Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Will Allen, and Nate Jones on the roster ... too many needs to draft a punt returner in the third round) in favor of Jimmy Graham, whom our front office is extremely enamored with. Good with Sean Lee in the fourth round, but since I took a LB over DL with your second round pick, might jump into the direction of Jerry Hughes. Morgan Burnett also makes sense as we're looking to upgrade the safety position as well.

With your availability at where Miami picks, I'd be damn pleased with:

1. Dez Bryant, WR
2. Sean Weatherspoon, LB
3. Jimmy Graham, TE
4. Jerry Hughes, DE

Parcells and Ireland, on the other hand, might go all front 7 in those spots.
