After looking at his stats, Lee has pretty much been consistent or slightly improving year by year. I think the only two years where he hasn't improved are 2000 and this year. 2000 was his third year in the league and playing behind Kevin Millar with a .280avg and a .362 OBP.
This year I think he was bothered the the wrist factor and a little mental thing, also, pitchers began to adjust and stay away from the inside. Next year he should make a full adjustment on those outside pitches and I think he will drop slightly from his '05 stats, which I believe was the pinnacle of his career.(28 years old)... 46HR 107RBIs .335avg and .410obp.
His numbers for 08 could look like
.315-.320 35-40hr 100-115rbi .400obp .600slg
He just doesn't have the power he did, having lost some speed in his swing after breaking his wrist. Also during his tenure at FL and his early CHI career pitchers' gameplan against him was inside-inside-inside. Being as big and tall as he is, they probably figured he couldn't get his arms close enough in, to merit a powerful swing. Well they were wrong, I think he adjusted well to that...maybe a credit to the Cubs batting coaches, but then again at about the same time they couldn't get Corey to be discipline. lol.
He'll be back in full effect, if he isn't already. A little adjustment on those outside pitches, since hes fallen in love with the inside ones, and he'll be alright.

IbreakNeckZ101 loves talking out of his a$$ but hates it when people call him on it, bottom line.
You look like a fool every time you blow something out of proportion, and naturally you disappear each and every time it comes back in your face.
Andddddd you got nothing to say in defense so you start feebly trying to insult me.
