Yeah, you can always buy another dog for small change. Playoff spots are much more expensive.

Ok, predict the 9th:

I say we score a run, get 2 guys on with 1 out, and then Ned puts some AAA scrub in to pinch hit and ground into a double play

You can blame McClung or Turnbow for not throwing strikes, but AQUINO?!?!?!

There is no defending that move whatsoever, NOTHING.

Maybe if Yost did that, we would get better calls.

Other than Miller who probably won't be playing after that injury yesterday all we have left is 1 AAA scrub to pinch hit anyways.

Why not just bring Cordero in for a 4 out save. I dont usually like the 2 inning saves but we are in a ****ing pennant chase. A 4 out save is not that bad. Or just leave Shouse in. Anything but Aquino's ass

Usually Bill is very supportive of Ned but I feel like he is really holding back lashing out at that decision. They continue to call the moves made "questionable" or something to that tune.

Exactly. Shouse or Cordero. But Ned ****ed up again

Agreed. Aquino should be the last man out of the pen. Why would you ever use him in crunch time??

I heard him grunt when Aquino came in before the commercial. Coshun said that Ned would probably be answering questions about the decision, which I can't wait for the answer.

If anyone supports that decision, then all hope is lost for them

Agreed, all these September call-ups should be used when a tying run is nowhere near the plate. That will give the big guys in the pen plenty of rest over the rest of the season.

Or bring Cordero in for one out if that's all he's got in the tank. That's the most important out of the game...the hesitation of managers to bring in their best arms in crucial situations so that they can come in with no one on in the 9th is just baffling.
