They'll take their time so ESPN can talk about the guys. Blech.

TRADE! MIN's No. 3 overall for what's rumored to be CLE's No. 4 overall, 4th-rounder, 5th-rounder and 7th-rounder. Like this for the Vikes, interested to see what Cleveland does.

I'm guessing Cleveland is taking Richardson. Wanted to prevent anyone else from getting him.

Of course, they could go left-field too. Hard to know with them. However, that seems a bit steep just to move up one spot. Not like Cleveland has a shot at RG3.

I wonder if Minnesota would be interest to trade down again and see what they can get. At this point it's worth a shot no? One would assume Kalil/Blackmon/Claiborne are the next 3 picks in some order.

I say Minnesota should talk to Jacksonville, swap, and get maybe a 3rd or another 4. Jacksonville takes Blackmon, Tampa takes Claiborne, Minnesota gets Kalil at 7.

Back from being the old white guy that shoots jumpers from the side of the key in pickup hoops. Best 2-hour mind-clearing I've doen in awhile. I'm literally walking off the court and I see the news of the trade on the TV.

Love it for both sides. MInnesota picked up a few late picks, Cleveland ensured they get their man and gave up picks that weren't likely to make their team with so many earlier picks anyways.

Vikings have called BUF about moving down again but I don't know the details of that conversation.

Yea, once I read how many picks Cleveland has this year, that deal made a lot of sense. I'm guessing it's Richardson? If so, any chance Peyton Hillis is moved this weekend?

Hillis is already in KC.

Two things I've heard that I trust:
--Mike Adams going tonight
--Packers are going to be aggrssive in chasing Kirkpatrick

I completely missed that. Well, Richardson makes a ton of sense then.

Who would the Ram's pick? If the Vikings could get Kalil at 7, it would be great to trade down again but if we're going to miss out on Kalil/Claiborne/Blackmon I'd want something significant.

my new theory is that the vikings have no idea who to pick so they are moving down in order to let other teams narrow the choices

They'll have to trade down again then, because this trade didn't narrow anything.

why did the browns do this (besides extra picks) vikes weren't likely to take richardson and was there really a lot of talk of people jumping the browns to get him?

I'm assuming they were afraid another team would trade up to #3 and grab Richardson.

hermes--CLE was legitimately afraid Tampa was going to jump them. Ended the drama, peace of mind.

Trading down to 7 makes me nervous, it might be too far.

Vikes took Kalil. Blackmon at 5. TB can get Claiborne at 7 now, right?

Bucs trade down. Guess they wanted Richardson or bust.
