Per someone who would know--Rams have received calls from at least 12 teams for pick #33. They could get a '13 1st rounder for it.

Hey how'd the rams end up with that one btw? Did they trade with the colts or something?

Oo I like this pick! David Wilson is great for them, just take him out on 3rd and short where he's awful.

Yikes, David WIlson at 32??

For once, OLinemen are becoming underrated in the draft.

Based on Mayock's top 100, there's going to be a lot of DT taken in the 2nd round tomorrow.

It's from a tiebreaker. Colts get 1st pick in 1,3,5,7 Rams get it in even rounds.

Ridiculously panicky move. Nobody between where they took him and where they pick tomorrow was even considering him. They pulled the exat same thing with Chris Cook a couple years ago.

He's better than Tyrell Johnson. I guess that's something.

The Draft Thread

Okay, draft thoughts.

Best draft in a long time. First couple picks were long and boring, we already knew, but then it took off. Trade after trade.

Dallas I like moving up and getting a top CB who coulda went high as 3, right?

Ingram slipping to San Diego was nice for them.

Was pleased with the rams approach at first, but know idk... I really think they went too far back. Shoulda gotten Lloyd.

Seahawks with the lol of the day. First 14 was fun, but Seattle taking Bruce Irvin really sent every back of the draft team for a loop. Probably a big reason bb traded up for jones.

2nd round will be just as nice. Get working on that best of the rest, icness ;)

Round 2 can be huge for Carolina. Still available: Still or Worthy if we go DT, or Trumain Johnson if we go CB. Hopefully they all 3 last till #40. Would allow the Panthers to add another quality defensive player to go with Kuechly. If they want a WR, can go with Jeffery or Hill.

Basically. Top overall pick gets $22 million over 4 years. Sam Bradford got $50 million guaranteed. If you're good, you're going to make the money "lost" in your 2nd contract. The rookie wage scale is the best thing to happen to the NFL in a long time. You wouldn't have had these many trades

The amount of talent at the top of the second round is insane to me. Absolutely insane.

Yeah I don't actually post it, I send it to the editor (Chris Reina) and he puts it up. Sometimes it happens right away, sometimes it takes hours. Go to bed and look for it tomorrow.

It would have been nice to get Floyd at 14, but Brockers seems good and I'm still happy having 33, 39, and 45 tomorrow. :D
