Forum Mock draft?

Anyone wanna do a forum mock draft? Last years was kind of rough, but I'm up for ideas on how to speed it up without having one person make all the picks.

One thought is to try and consolidate teams together with multiple posters forming a draft team. So for instance you could make 16 groups with 2 nfl teams per group and the 2-3 people in that group are responsible for those picks. So you could match an NFC team with its AFC counterpart (ie- AFC north #1 with NFC north #1 aka Ravens and Packers).

Not sure if this idea makes as much sense written out as in my head, but any other suggestions are welcome. The trouble is the forum is not extremely active and you have a lot of teams to cover without dragging it out.

Anyone interested?

I'm always down for this but we need to come up with a decent system as well as maybe someone to kind of "be in charge" of organzing it. I remember we had some success doing this on our board(Packers) last year because it is easily the most active.

I think it's important to make sure you're not doing it during school/work, but I'm interested. Sorry for last year's sucking ass.

I don't think last year's forum mock draft was too bad-we got into the 4th round I think.

Yea, we got far but a lot of posters missed their turns so just a few people ended up making a lot of picks. There seemed to be displeasure that it moved too quickly.

I'll fill in holes if needed.

Start it the week after free agency kicks off, that gives 4 weeks to complete it.

We do, but the restrictions of a message board (RealGM specifically...no PMs except from mods) really limit communication without everyone checking the board every hour to allow it to move quickly.
