the 1st mock choice for the jags was way better. Amerson is a CB that has size, athleticism and Ball Skills. worse case for him is we move him to FS.

Bray on the other hand may have the talent of a top QB but the durability of nothing. hes made of glass. if ur hell bent on giving the jags a QB give them Logan Thomas who compares well to Cam newton.

horrible Jags picks.

1) QB isnt a Need. should take alook him between last year and this year from preseason to now and you see hes improved. with where you have us picking i would try to trade down to a QB needing team(Raiders, Cards, Bucs) for wat the rams got for pick 2. if you dont have us trading down i would take Montgomery or Millner or a shocker pick of Woods, hunter or Barrett Jones.

2) as much as eifert is good the jags can not pass on adding G Johnathan Cooper or Gholston or Lemonier. yes the jags could use a Backup TE but Marcedes lewis Looked like his contract year guy and not last years dud.

idealy i would love to add Montgomery and Cooper and would really make our team even better. Montgomery would add even more pass rush ability combined with Branch and mincey would make the Jags End Rotation on par Potentially with the giants and such. Cooper would reinforce our Oline which needs to replace Meester our Center and has to decide if they want to keep britton or not and where to play who.

id imagine an Offensive Line like Monroe-Britton/Cooper-Rackley-Nwaneri-Bradfield would be very nice.

Hmm, well a few things to comment on here:

First, I'm a little skeptical of the Lions taking a Guard in Round 1. We have Peterman and Sims under contract for 2013, so I'd be surprised if they would take another extra OL that needs to wait a year to get into the mix after already doing that with Reiff, plus Backus is also under contract for 2013 so we should have plenty of depth of there.

I'm skeptical that Sam Montgomery would go as high as 3 and to CLE, I just don't see it and I think they would take a gamble on Geno Smith at QB before going with somebody who doesn't have an impressive amount of statistical production on defense that high.

You have Millner spelled wrong, it's Milliner, that one is obvious to me since I've also misspelled his name before lol.

Thanks for also providing a 2014 early list!!

And I happened to catch your pound-for-pound MMA rankings on your link which look pretty good, it's always nice to have a fresh list since there aren't a lot of easy to find good rankings on an overall basis, and I like some of your choices there!!

However, Ronda Rousey as #2 behind Cyroid Santos? Come on that's just unacceptable. First Rousey has beaten everybody she ever fought in the first round and is undefeated and only 1 of her 6 opponents even lasted more than a minute plus it's so badass that all 6 have lost by armbars LOL. Santos has lost once, and Santos hasn't fought in a year and the last time she did she lost credit for a drug violation of which Rousey already called her out on that and challenged her to a fight. That's just criminal man, plus Rousey is hot and deserves extra bonus points!

There is a lot here so I'll go one at a time...

Detroit is historically a BPA team and Warmack at #18 is easily the BPA and incredible value. He is not just the best guard in the draft, but he is the best guard prospect in a good long time.

Cleveland may go QB at #3, but it might be a tough sell with Weeden actually playing decent and Geno Smith regressing. I suspect Cleveland will go DE, I'm just not sure which one. A case could be made for Mingo, Montgomery, Werner, or even Moore. DE is very fluid right now and Montgomery is coming off a very impressive game against Bama.

I like doing the future draft stuff to break the monotony of listing the same guys over and over. It is also fun to try to figure out the next wave of talent. You can find a 2013 mock draft anywhere, but 2014 stuff is harder to come by.

I don't take drug suspensions into account when doing the MMA Rankings. If I did, the list would be half empty. Cyborg has been unstoppable and run through everyone. So has Rousey, but she is still a lot newer. I hope we see that fight soon, as it is truly the only women's MMA fight that matters and I have no idea how it would go. I think Rousey is hot as hell and would root for her against Cyborg, but I don't think the resume is there yet for her to leapfrog Cyborg.

I'm glad you like the site. Sometimes I wonder how many people even read it. I do it mainly to cure my boredom.

Ok fair enough then if Warmack is that good, I can't really say since I haven't scouted him, I'll take an extra close look during draft time next year if he's still in the mix then at the top of the rankings. If CLE is really sold on Weeden well then so be it, I just thought Montgomery is not a pick that could be sold over doubling up on QB prospects since I think Weeden is a suspect prospect.

2014 stuff is good and your description makes you sound like a draftin' drug dealer LOL. It is harder to come by so thanks for supplying me with the good stuff!

And ok I guess Cyborg and Ronda will just have to settle this thing in the ring. That's fine and I'll get in the ring with her if Cyborg is too chicken! Santos is only 125% the man that I am. lol

No way Barkley is even in consideration for #1 overall anymore...I'd be surprised if he even went in the top-10 at this point.

I think KC is probably stuck with Geno Smith, although I don't really like him enough to be a 1st overall either. Rough crop of QBs this year.

As for my team (the Niners), our line has been playing very well this year, so I don't see us spending another 1st rounder on an O-Lineman. Biggest needs IMO are a safety and depth at rush linebacker. If that was the board at our pick, I'd probably take Dion Jordan or Kenny Vaccaro

Agreed on all counts. My most recent mock has SF taking Vaccaro.

Underrating Fisher and Nuk Hopkins by quite a bit there, imo.

I like the first pick for the Niners - safety is definitely a need for us, and I could easily see us taking whichever of Vaccaro/Reid/Elam is left and highest rated.

I don't see why we would pick Ogletree though...we have all our linebackers locked up with long term deals. We need some depth at rush LB, but isn't Ogletree more of an inside LB? Chase Thomas would seem like a more logical selection there (especially since he's a Harbaugh guy).
