New York Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson only suffered "minor injuries" Saturday after the car he was driving struck another vehicle, then overturned, ESPN reported Monday.

Wilkerson, the Jets' 2011 first-round draft pick, was charged with careless driving and failure to maintain his lane on the Garden State Parkway early Saturday morning. Wilkerson, a promising second-year pro, was out of the hospital and reported to the Jets' facility Monday for an examination.
