Bowl Game observation thread

Granklin American Mortgage City Bowl (Not really aware who the other prospects are other than the big names.

Mike Glennon (6-6 230lb QB prospect from NC State) looks awful. Three picks already. Made some really impressive throws too though.

David Amerson (6-3 195lb CB/S prospect from NC State) has been mostly invisible. Not surprising with how much Vandy has kept the ball on the ground.

Zac Stacy (5-9 210lb RB prospect from Vanderbilt) has looked really good as a traditional back and as a Wildcat QB. Good blocker, good receiver, looks like a solid mid round pick.

Jordan Matthews (6-3 205lb WR prospect from Vanderbilt) has looked good as well. He'll end with 90 receptions and 1300 yards this year in the SEC.

Trey Wilson (5-11 195lb CB prospect from Vanderbilt) has looked real good. Don't think he's had a pass completed on him and he baited Glennon into throwing him one.

Sun Bowl

Matt Barkley is having a helluva day by not playing and watching Max Wittek in his place.

Woods, Lee, Redd, and McNeal, are nonexistent. Holmes continues to underwhelm.

TJ Barnes and the rest of the Yellow Jacket DLine is shutting USC down hard.

Uzzi looks quick at Guard for GT. Might get some looks at Center as well as Guard

Izzan Cross is a guy worth keeping an eye on as a late round 30 End. Batted down a few balls and has become intimantly familiar with Max Wittek.

Chick Fill-A Bowl

Always interesting to see which of the sure to be drafted guys play balls to the walls or play not to get hurt in their Bowl Game.

Barkevious Mingo just broke the Clemson game plan by breaking Sammy Watkins. Clemson's RT looks outmatched. He's QUICK off the line.

Kevin Minter is a baller at ILB for LSU. Incredible sideline to sideline speed.

Sam Montgomery is playing okay across from Mingo. Had some misreads and given up the outside.

If you don't already have him then Jarvis Landry is a guy to add to your watch in the future list.

JC Copeland gives up a sack. Hard for FBs to get drafted, and doing that doesn't help.

Eric Reid gets Ellington on the ground in the open field.

My boy Brad Wing suspended for violating team rules. Punters violating rules cracks me up. Keehn gets off a boomer. Why is Les Miles the only guy who gets Australians to punt?

Taj Boyd can move in the pocket and is willing to take a hit if necessary. Does a good job following blocks when he runs. Not sure if he's an NFL QB or not but he's playing a pretty good game. He's accurate today and throwing off platform.

Hopkins has some really impressive hands and plays bigger than his listed 6'1. He's having an incredible game. Man's making some money tonight.

Mallicaih Goodman might be an interesting UDFA. Seems like a guy with some tools. Not much production in his career but those Clemson DEs.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
