I thought he was clearly the best player on the field in the Title Game.

Blocked 2 kicks in a game Florida had no business winning against the Game Cocks.

My question is... How good of an OLB prospect is he? Great size, maybe to much at 6-6 or so, I'd be scared he would be to tall vs the Run.

He's who I think I want at 22 to go along with Ware, Ellis is coming off an achilles with nothing on the other side pass rush wise.

Really he I think he is in the pass rusher mold of a Dwight Freeney with the possibility of playing OLB in a 4 LB offense. But in a 3 LB offense I'd think he'd be better suited for the DE position

He might be gone at number 15 to Pittsburgh. Actually fits both schemes to a tee.

I've gone back and forth on Moss. I started out wondering why people thought so highly of him--he got pushed around quite a bit early in the season and did not exhibit good positional responsibilty. Then I watched him a little more, a little closer, and he's an exceptional athlete with some very developed football abilities. One thing I love about him is that he disrupts passing lanes so adeptly and naturally; it's like he's Mutombo patrolling the lane at times. He seems to feel out screens and cutbacks quite well and he closes quickly.

I worry about his ability to hold up as a DE--he's not real bulky and he's not of a build that's going to allow him to get much stronger, esp. in his lower body. He only did 16 reps despite adding almost 8 pounds to his frame since their season ended; I'm 34 and don't strength train regularly and I can put up 11 reps. And at 6'6" and only running in the high 4.6s at his best (and 4.74 at his pro day), he's not of anywhere near ideal build or speed for a rush-specialist OLB. I'd agree he plays faster than that, but so do lots of TEs. So he strikes me very much as a tweener in a negative way--the two most prominently successful tall tweeners either had much better speed (Jason Taylor) or power (Mike Vrabel) than what Moss has and what he'll ever have.

I think he's got a chance to be a successful passing-down guy right off the bat, but I believe he's a guy who is going to take some time (2-3 seasons) before he becomes a fulltime player. I don't think he's in the same class as Anderson, Carriker, or Adams and I don't think he'll have the immediate impact of Spencer or even Quentin Moses, but in 3 years he's got a pretty good chance to be a quality starter and a disruptive force in the passing game. Pretty big boom/bust guy IMO just because he is so physically weak compared to the guys he's going to have to beat on the other side of the ball.

i could see him going in the high teens.

possibly to pittsburgh with the departure of porter. i've never heard of and OLB that's 6'5" or higher and him playing the olb spot would be great to see.
