Did you hear this later on 790 the zone? I heard it earlier during the day that he was going to start.

Can never trust Sports talk radio.

34 hits and 26 runs (only 4 runs given up) over the last two games. :)

Hopefully this is the start of a nice winning streak. Can't wait to see Teixeira's first at bat. It'll be funny to see all the people who curse JS if Teixeira goes 0-4 or something bad.

And I didn't catch the beginning of the game tonight, what's with all the yellow hats? I haven't been able to see what was on the front of them. I guess they were GT hats for Teixeira?

I didn't think they were the right color for GT, but I just heard during the post game interview "look at all these people who still remember you from GT."

If anyone is going to the game tonight, feel free to set fire to the pressbox. I'll be at the game Friday, so if it hasn't been done by then I'm willing to take the fall.

Haha nice one, reference to the Fred McGriff trade and our comeback to take over the division.

AJ is bound to see some good pitches, so hopefully he can take advantage of it, and get back to his old ways.

I'm sure you'll be the first to point out how terrible he is if he has a bad first game.

Warn us before hand if you try to convert to a Braves fan.

First time through, looks like having Tex in the line-up should be some fun. I'm sure this also has to do with Rodriguez as well :)

Holy crap, 7 runs in the first inning. :)

Our offense is on fire the past couple of games.

Tonight's game kind of reminds me of McGriff's first game as a Brave!

Some decent pics of Tex from his first game with the Atlanta Braves.

Teix comes in a hits a homer...Buddy goes down with an injury. I said we needed any sp cause of our depth and then this happens. Cormier being called up?

Buddy said that his injury wasn't serious, and that he should be able to make his next start. With that said, what player is going to say that he is hurt? I just hope that it is as he says, and is not serious. If so, I wouldn't mind bringing up Lance for another chance at a starting spot. Let's take care of business tonight and get after those Rockies.
