Jeff Otah's stock is really dropping because of the combine, and I think the Bears are really higher on Chris Williams than him. Nothing big.

I also think the Lions would rather want a CB than a LB especially if Mcklevin is there for the picking.

I was leaning toward giving them a CB but with the trade that got them Leigh Bodden i figured they could draft a CB later on since it a strong class. If they draft Connor i than figured they could move Paris Lenon over to the other OLB spot opposite Sims where they just lost Baily.

Very decent draft I have seen much worse. Merling is dropping like a rock after his sports hernia.

Otah stock is not dropping. Actually some prominent draft sites have him going to the Cheifs at #5.

I'm going to have to call you out on that. Why don't you show me these sites?

Edit: I shouldn't of said "really dropping" but Williams is definitely rated higher than him from what I've seen.

Call me out and I shall deliver my friend

nfldraftcountdown.com

Scott Wright's Mock Draft

Mike Mayock also has him at #5 to K.C on his board and the #2 overall tackle in this draft.

I'm not seeing many mocks lately that still have Davis as a first-rounder... if Seattle goes TE here, I think Dustin Keller is the more trendy choice these days.

(Sorry, my first post got deleted because my internet got cut off so this one is a lackluster redo of a post that took me well over an hour)

Here's links to him about his stock dropping(or argues against, whatever):

http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/v ... sc&start=0
http://sportswrap.berecruited.com/2008/ ... l-combine/

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsSt ... ry_id=4459 (Kiper's draft has the Bears picking Williams instead of Otah)

Here's some mocks where he's projected to go:
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/mockdraft. ... &year=2008 (27th, Chargers)
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/mockdraft2 ... &year=2008 (27th, Charger)
http://nfldraftguys.com/features/08_moc ... 17.php(8th, Baltimore)
http://www.scoutsnotebook.com/modules.p ... t0708(13th, Panthers)
http://www.footballsfuture.com/2008/nfl ... .html(15th, Detriot)
http://www.drafttek.com/round12008.html(14th, Chicago) but after Williams and Clady are off the board.
http://www.newerascouting.com/home/222- ... raft/(20th, Tampa)
http://nfldraftguys.com/features/lammey ... t.php(19th, Philly)
http://profootballexperts.scout.com/2/735164.html(23rd, Pitt)
http://nfldraftguys.com/features/08_moc ... 8.php(14th, after Williams and Clady)
http://condraft.com/mocks/round-1.html(14th, after Clady)
http://www.draftseason.com/Outhouse(23rd, Pitt)

As you can see, I think it's safe to say that 5th is about as high as he's projected to go and 27th being the lowest. Still I wouldn't exactly say his stock is rising, or at least not over Chris Williams.

And to quote Iceness from the combine thread(I think page 4)

Iceness wrote:2. This group of tackles is potentially outstanding and very deep. Some of the lesser-known guys (Cousins, Duane Brown, Zuttah) all looked pretty good in the agility and mirror drills and have fair chances to develop into NFL starters. The one tackle whose stock appears to be falling is Jeff Otah, who is a lot slower and fatter than a lto of us thought he was.

Bah, my original was better but trust me, I did my research.

And I'll like to point out Mayock and Wright's draft have a lot of unconventional stuff going on in their drafts like, Jake Long/Matt Ryan first...etc. There's a bunch of stuff not many people would expect.

Cowboys need big receiver, like Sweed. Not a stick figure like jackson. change that and I am in. DRC and Sweed are potential stars for a long time.
