This is similar to an earlier incarnation but does have some changes and additions.

I'm really not married to the ordination of the top 3, or the next grouping of 6-7 guys. If you like player A more than player B or C in those clusters, you'll have a hard time getting an argument from me. I do think there is a clear demarcation between Sweed/Thomas/Kelly and the next group led by Manningham/Jackson/Hardy, and the grouping after that which starts with Hawkins and Nelson.

Forgot to update my thoughts on Adarius Bowman--you can ignore everything about him because with his arrest for pot (which actually happened about 5 minutes after this list got posted) he is no longer a candidate for the NFL. That's 3 pot arrests in 4 years for a guy who didn't play to expectations and appears to get slower as he gets closer to his athletic prime.

Personally, I think the top tier of the WR class shakes out as follows:
1 - Sweed
2a - Kelly
2b - Thomas
2c - Jackson
I think Sweed is a tad ahead... Although injured he has wanted to demonstrate his ability at every step of the process... To me this is considerable different from players that who mad "minor" injuries and opted not to perform. In my opinion, that attitude, coupled with his nack for the big play, and leaping ability put him slight ahead of the others...
The non-first rounders that I think have very bright futures are Bennett and Doucet...

I had not considered this before, but is the curse of Steve Spurrier offensive players starting to occur to Stoops players? I liked Malcom Kelly, but I keep seeing him fall. He strikes me as a potential Roy Williams type guy, but he has not risen up boards. Any comments on this and the potential curse?

Limas Sweed is more Roy Williams than anything. Malcolm Kelly is closer to a Larry Fitzgerald or Braylon Edwards type receiver.
Kelly's stock has taken a hit because he didn't partake in any of the drills at the combine and he hasn't done a private workout neither.
The other main reason he's dropped is because of the injury history. People are getting wary of a guy who's already had an ACL injury and is rumored to have two bad knees.
April 9th is the big day for him.
I still have him as my #1 guy followed so closely by Devin Thomas, Limas Sweed, Mario Manningham, Earl Bennett, Early Doucet, James Hardy and DeSean Jackson.
EDIT: Forgot about Manningham

LOL. Just peeked at Icness's article and he feels the same way with the Larry Fitzgerald/Braylon Edwards comparison.

Absolutely love the Anquan Boldin comparison when talking about Devin Thomas.
The way they both move after the catch is what reminds me of the other. I think that's a pretty big reason why the Bills are rumored to take him with the 11.
Because Trent Edwards is so good with the intermediate routes that he and Thomas would be an ideal match.
The only big concern with Thomas is that he's only performed 1 year. Some of that has to do with John L. Smith but that is the biggest question mark concerning Thomas.

Iceness do you think the Titans will be/are very interested in picking up Limas Sweed @ 24?
They obviously need help at WR and Ive read that Young and Sweed were pretty good friends back at Texas and have good chemistry on the field.

I think that if they go WR there, it will be Sweed. But I have heard they are leaning towards other positions like DL and RB (yes, RB!)
