Bengals #1 selection?
Bold pick. I'll say KC, ATL, and MIA get the top 3 picks. Looking at your mock, James Davis returning to school was the correct decision so far. Not so much for Laurinaitis but there's still time to rise up the boards.

No Travis Beckum? I'm surprised you have Laurinaitis that low.

You really think the Texans are going to be bad?
I love the James Davis pick.

I don't think they're really all that bad, but their schedule presents them with a lot of matchup problems. And I do think their secondary is the worst in the NFL once again, and their RB situation is in the bottom 3. Alex Gibbs is a great OL coach, but you cannot turn moldy flour into tasty muffins without a lot of super-primo additives. Other than Eric Winston and Chris Myers the OL is all well below average until proven otherwise. They look like one of those cases where they could go 9-7 if they catch some beaks but just as easily be like the 49ers or Jets last year--high expectations that go unmet for a variety of reasons. Right now I'm betting on the latter. I actually think they'll start 0-5 against this: @PIT, BAL, @TEN, @JAX, IND.

That's a brutal start

Vontae Davis is going to grade out very well.
Nice size, physical as hell, and disgusting closing speed. (see: Joe McKnight play in Rose Bowl)
I don't think it's outrageous to think he could run 4.3 flat or lower. Put that together with his legit game tape and he's a top 10 pick.
IMO - The most intriguing CB prospect since Cromartie.

Laurinaitis should be way higher then you have him in your mock. The guy was a top 10 pick, why would he fall? He seems like the perfect MLB.

I want to hear more of your thoughts on Crabtree, I think he's outstanding but a lot of guys claim him as a system guy.. what do you think, and who do you compare him to?
I'm not huge on Laurinaitis, but if we got him at 25, I'd be ecstatic/
James Davis might be a bit high IMO.

Ever since I read The Blind Side, I've really been rooting for Michael Oher.
Here's to hoping he gets drafted high and makes it big in the league.

Most people have Michael Oher as the consensus #1 pick. This is going to be a great year for T's. If your team is in need of a Tackle or a Center you're in luck.

Like who? Personally, I like Andre Smith quite a bit more. That said, I love The Blind Side.

Most of the draft experts. Yeah Andre Smith is getting a lot of publicity too.
Can we talk about my guy George Selvie?

No, seriously. Who? I haven't heard him mentioned as a potential #1 overall once.

Nice job. I will get it added to our mock draft database at dcprosportsreport.com.
Ya got the Redskins way up at 13th which does not bode well for their season and given week one, you may be right. I'd take taylor Mays, but at this point, I am gonna be pretty darn angry if they don't starting building the Line, both of them.

I can honestly say that I haven't heard of 95% of those sites. Thanks for the link.

i know footballsfuture.com updates mock drafts about once a week and theyve had michael oher #1 for awhile. i doubt he'll go #1 especially since this seems like a pretty good draft for qb's, plus ive seen some say andre smith from Alabama is as good if not better then Oher, still a fantastic story regardless
the guy i think id give my whole draft for (in other words my favorite player in this draft) is rey maulauga, god i love his inensity and his speed and ferociousness.

Horrible QB class. Awful.

There's not a lot wrong with this QB class in my opinion. Sanchez is the flavor of the week but for good reason. He's legit first round caliber QB. Great arm, solid mobility, leader and accurate.
Stafford's gotten all the hype but I've yet to see it. The lack of quality targets is probably one major reason why, but if he was the #1 overall that Kiper said he would be, he'd have elevated the play of others on that team.
Painter's got a big arm and good size. He can throw the ball all day.
I thought Cantwell would have been a better player by now but physically he's there with anyone.
Tebow elicits a lot of opinions, but when I look at him I see Steve McNair. I think he's going to be a real good one in the NFL.
I think at least three QBs go in the first round, depending on who comes out.
