This was written before some injuries and recent performances and needs revision, but it gives you an idea of who is being looked at. I've talked to several scouts who now have convinced me Bradford isn't a first rounder. Gresham and Gronkowski are both off 1st round boards too until they prove fully recovered. I'll probably have v2.0 up early next week.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers--Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma

2. St. Louis Rams--Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma

3. Kansas City Chiefs--Taylor Mays, S, USC

4. Detroit Lions--Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

5. Cleveland Browns--Carlos Dunlap, DE/OLB, Florida

6. Seattle Seahawks (from DEN)--Trent Williams, T, Oklahoma

7. Buffalo Bills--Russell Okung, T, Oklahoma State

8. Cincinnati Bengals--Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech

9. Houston Texans--Eric Berry, S, Tennessee

10. Miami Dolphins--Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida

11. San Francisco 49ers--Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State

12. Denver Broncos (from CHI)--Brandon Graham, DE/OLB, Michigan

13. Arizona Cardinals--Brian Bulaga, T, Iowa

14. Oakland Raiders--Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern

15. Jacksonville Jaguars--Tim Tebow, QB, Florida

16. San Francisco 49ers (from CAR)--Colt McCoy, QB, Texas

17. New York Jets--Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois

18. Philadelphia Eagles--Ricky Sapp, OLB/DE, Clemson

19. Dallas Cowboys--Selvish Capers, T, West Virginia

20. Atlanta Falcons--Mike Iupati, G, Idaho

21. Washington Redskins--Tony Washington, T, Abilene Christian

22. Seattle Seahawks--Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss

23. Baltimore Ravens--Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida State

24. Tennessee Titans--Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas

25. New England Patriots--C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson

26. Green Bay Packers--Jahvid Best, RB, California

27. New Orleans Saints--Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri

28. Indianapolis Colts--Darrell Stuckey, S, Kansas

29. New York Giants--Joe Haden, CB, Florida

30. Pittsburgh Steelers--Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona

31. San Diego Chargers--Charles Scott, RB, LSU

32. Minnesota Vikings--Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

Houston would be thrilled if they got Berry.

That's my favorite pick of your mock.

I've never even heard of the G from Idaho for my Falcons, but I also agree we'll need some line help after free agency in the offseason.

I just watched the UW/Idaho game last night. Okay, technically I watched about half of it in fast forward while also watching the USC-Ole Miss game, but I was watching Iupati and Jake Locker. I saw Iupati get pancake blocks on 7 consecutive runs and just leaps off the film. They ran a draw play and he went from blowing back the DT about 3 yards to planting the LB before the RB even got there. It reminded me of watching Bill Fralic during his Pitt days. One scout told me he's the best G prospect since Faneca.

I will LOL so hard at the team that takes Taylor Mays over Eric Berry.

Who is calling the plays for USC defense this year? Wasn't that a knock on May's last year? Either way I like most people believe that Berry is going to be truly amazing. For the Jets, I love and want Benn. However something just tells me that if a defensive prospect is there for Ryan, he will take him. We do need to improve the defensive line since Ellis and Douglas aren't exactly spring chickens. Jenkins could always use a backup. Plus wherever I see the Jets slotted you just know they are going to make a move. They do it every year now targeting a player and getting him. Mike Tannenbaum is simply that aggressive.

Either way like you said, its the first mock of what will be a long process. This one looks pretty damn nice though.

I love the Ndamukong Suh pick for Detroit. Lions need serious upgrades to their DTs. They also need help at CB, OT, and G. Suh would really help a rebuilding Detroit team.

I have a lot of issues with this draft:

Bradford - if you are convinced he isn't a 1st rounder, then why did you pick him to go #2 overall, that doesn't make sense. Are you convinced or not?

Bryant - I highly doubt the 49ers take a WR with their first pick after drafting Crabtree. I realize you made this before he signed, but when a player is drafted, you ASSUME he is going to play for the team unless proven otherwise, they had their WR need nicely padded with the Crabtree pick. If for whatever reason they didn't sign him, then after that point of no return, THEN it makes sense to put a WR in the mock, or are you suggesting they take Bryant in addition to Crabs??

Bengals have way too many needs to go with RB, which they had to cut a couple of decent RBs this year already from having too many decent options there.

Packers taking an RB with having a decent option in Ryan Grant is a stretch.

Steelers taking a TE with Heath Miller is ridiculous.

Chargers taking a RB with Sproles (and LT possibly returning) is also far-fetched.

Sorry, but this mock doesn't seem very well thought out at all tbh.

All about 2 RB's now. Carolina had Williams but that didn't stop them from spending a mid first rounder on Stewart. Brandon Jackson was a top 50 pick that hasn't worked out. Best would be a very good pick for them if they were to get a later pick, a big play guy is something that Grant is not.

Chargers taking a RB with Sproles (and LT possibly returning) is also far-fetched.

I'm pretty sure he is taking into account that Tomlinson likely won't be back.

Its still very, very early in the process and a lot will change.

Good mock, good post by you MP! I think in recent years it has become very obvious that Mike Tannenbaum and the Jets love to move around to get the players they want. They did it with Revis, David Harris, Dustin Keller and lately with Sanchez and Greene. As you said.

Now with Jenkins out for the season and Ellis/Douglas getting up there in age we just have to address our defensive front. The Jets have to look heavily for depth and talent on both lines. Faneca and/or Woody will have to be replaced at some point down the road. Another position I could see the Jets looking at is the OLB where we still haven't found a stud pass rusher who can beat his man on a consistent basis. Kindle would be awesome in my eyes as he has also played LB for Texas last year which should make the transition that much easier...

The Niners need O Line help more than another WR.
