With the addition of UMass starting next year there will be 13 full members. Many people think there should be an even number of members. What schools would be possible expansion candidates as full members, not football only?
The often mentioned Western Kentucky and Temple are the two at the top of my list, but I'm not sure on how likely either would be. Would the MAC be willing to accept a school moving up from the FCS if they were willing to be full members? Maybe someone like Rhode Island.

The MAC has two teams to be very proud of yesterday with Northern Illinois taking out #5 Notre Dame and Bowling Green in a fight to the very end against #8 Penn State.

I feel like Marshall would be a solid addition (former member.)Jingles2 wrote:With the addition of UMass starting next year there will be 13 full members. I think Marshall is the number one best fit for the MAC, but I don't see them leaving the Sunbelt anytime soon. I'm not sure but there may be some bad blood there from when they left too.
