Anyone watching college gameday? Why did the crowd chant SEC when Mark Sanchez was talking? The Pac10 is owning the SEC this season. I think?

Many SEC fans believe the biggest win is the SEC Championship.

There just exciting to watch. It's not like I'm a fan, but I find myself rooting for them, so I hope they continue to have success.

Tough break for ECU in a great game by both teams.

Man Case Keenum is amazing in this offense. We trail Coloardo St. by 4 points. Keenum has 2 TDs in the game.

Notre Dame has always been accused of picking patsies for their schedule.

This season is a classic - only one rated team (USC) and that is near the end of the season.

None of their other opponents appeared even to be .500 teams.

I see Michigan State pulled a surprise. They pulled the upset of the Irish today. the home team in that series had lost the last 7 games. Spartans (home team) broke that jinx too.....

pryor

btw, there is pretty good chance there will be two unbeaten non-BCS teams with BYU/Utah and Boise St. looking good.

MSU/Notre Dame was a yawner. Javon Ringer solidified his Heisman credentials and he sure looks like a 1st round draft pick more and more, showing better burst thru the hole and more quickness. The Irish have improved light years from last season but they're still not a good football team.

Oregon loses to Boise State, in Eugene. On the way to Lansing this morning I was listening to ESPN Radio and on comes Colin Cowherd talking up the Pac-10, mentioning Oregon in particular as a very likely candidate to earn a BCS berth. Georgia is laying the wood to ASU in Phoenix. The Pac-10 is looking worse all the time. Of course I'm not someone who values conference power much; I'm more of a team by team evaluator. But I can safely say that the 8th best team in the SEC (Tennessee? Ole Miss?) beats any MWC school except BYU by at least 10 points, certainly at home.

This Florida State/Wake Forest game is a dog. So many stupid penalties and bad throws. Wake's QB can't throw a pass with any degree of accuracy more than about 12 yards, and the Noles D has adjusted nicely.

Hard to see ECU drop one in the manner they did. Props to NCSU for the impressive goal-line defensive stands.

Well, the OL played like crap, Moreno was tripping all over the place, and we had more penalties than ASU had rushing yards, but I'll take an easy win on the west coast. Green had his coming out party and Curran continued to fly around the field. Stafford showed why he has been penciled in as the 1st pick of the NFL draft since high school.

Still, the OL has to figure it out. It may get you easy wins in the Pac-1, but that's not going to cut it against teams like Bama, LSU, Florida and Auburn. Losing Sturdivant is hurting more than I imagined it would.

And the Pac-1 is an USC loss away from exploding.

I think you need to add Utah to that list as well.
BTW BYU has the longest win streak in the country and in the past two games including today's has out scored their opponents 103 to 0 not to shabby.

Your right the PAC-10 is over rated except for USC.
Oregon is snake bite when it comes to it's quarterbacks this year. Right now using their 3rd string quarterback and still almost beat BSU, but in truth the rest of their season looks real bad ss for them.

i think tcu could hang with a tennessee or ole miss, defensively especially b/c they always have a good defensive squad and though they may get killed next week gary patterson's team will put up a good fight vs. the sooners.

You wanna know the sad thing? He isn't the third-stringer...he's the fifth-stringer. Here's Oregon's QB depth chart:

1. Nathan Costa (out for year--torn ACL)
2. Justin Roper (out indefinitely--sprained knee)
3. Jeremiah Masoli (out indefinitely--concussion suffered against BSU)
4. Chris Harper (not good at throwing the ball)
5. Darron Thomas

Behind him, there are freshman walk-ons and the third-string running back. No one else.

Sports talk radio in Oregon has made a big deal of Oregon's offense and whether it puts QBs more at risk than a regular offense or a more conventional spread. I'd be interested in hearing opinions on this. (Stat that might help: Oregon has lost its starting QB to injury in 5 of the past 8 games.)

This is not surprising at all...Cowherd has had a major woody for the Ducks forever, which was apparent when he was the sports director for Portland's NBC affiliate.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Colin Cowherd is an idiot, not biased. And he's especially dreadful on talk radio.

If he continues to play like this, he might imporve his draft stock to a 2nd or 1st rounder.
