Spanked by Stanford? LOL. Loss by one..

Spanked by Oregon State? LOL. Loss by six.

Oregon State. They have one loss. On the road, to a team that was like 4-1 against ranked teams the past 2 or 3 years or something like that. It's not like they're THAT bad.

The only thing I am saying is USC would most likely spank, an I'm talking an actual spank (more then one or six points, lol), any team out there except maybe Alabama and Florida in a game.

But in the end it's the Trojans fault they are in a **** conference because they sign all the talent and the rest of the Pac-10 gets the leftovers.

any team except oregon state i assume. or whichever game USC decides to choke on that particular year.

again, you can find every excuse in the book you want but neither games nor championships are won on paper and ifs and buts wont get you banners. there is a reason yankees hasnt won a title this century.

Because they have terrible pitching.

Go ahead, talk all you want on Oregon State, but they aren't as bad as you make them out to be.

I don't understand why Florida is ranked so high when they lost to an unranked team at HOME. The only quality wins they have are Georgie and LSU, meanwhile the Trojans have beat three ranked teams.

USC has had 2 close games in the last 3 weeks. Fl has been destroying whoever they put in front of them. They destroyed a #6 ranked Georgia and got a lot of love for it. You guys destroyed Ohio State who was ranked high at the moment and got love for it as well. You just happen to lose a game after your most impressive win. Fl has won their most impressive games after they lost. They have had a chance to redeem themselves.

By the end of the year if Fl makes it, they will deserve it.

They would have beaten the following ranked teams
LSU
Georgia
South Carolina
Fl State
Alabama

all after their 1 loss. USC can not put together a resume like that after their loss to Oregon State...what would their most impressive victory be? Cal bears?

Look, I am not here to argue who is better. Just pointing out why you guys are not given the benefit of the doubt over teams from the Big 12 and SEC.

One thing most people refuse to acknowledge is that Oregon State has a much stronger conference record than they think. When you look at the last 2 years, USC and OSU are the top 2 teams in total conference record. USC has a combined record of 14-4 in conference over 2006-2007 while OSU has a record of 12-6. I would say that this is a pretty good indicator that OSU has been a pretty damn good team over the last couple of years, despite the perpetual under-rating they get nationally.

I'd take OSU over Cal, UCLA, and Oregon...But for some reason, they always fly under the radar...Maybe their non conference games?

if you wanna go down that road, then Utah should be ranked above USC, especially if they beat BYU. Utah has a better record, has beaten 2 currently ranked teams while USC has beaten 1, playing in arguably tougher conference, and has beaten the team USC failed to beat.

florida s ranking is irrelevant at this point, their path is quite simple.

No. They lost to a non-ranked team.

Oh, so we're not going with currently ranked teams? ( like someone did here to make their point):

"if you wanna go down that road, then Utah should be ranked above USC, especially if they beat BYU. Utah has a better record, has beaten 2 currently ranked teams while USC has beaten 1, playing in arguably tougher conference, and has beaten the team USC failed to beat."

You took the bait KIE, I was hoping it was ElTurco first.

Ok...your arguments (both of you) are getting so convoluted that you need to start drawing diagrams. I'm pretty sure if you do you will both end up here...
