My tv was out for the game.

Did Ohio St. win?

Turco was right about the OSU defense being able to stop the Texas running game. What he wasn't right about, and what I TOLD him he wasn't right about, was that it wouldn't be enough. I had heard the whole "they haven't seen a defense like this before" and perhaps they hadn't...but it still wasn't enough.

It was a great game though, closer than I thought (I had predicted 35-21 Texas) and one thing is for sure...Colt McCoy is going to make a fine NFL quarterback. To be able to throw passes in a flash, on target, and hitting receivers in stride is going to get that guy a job on Sundays for sure.

meh, game went on the way i expected except maybe ohio state s offense was little more futile than i thought it would be. tressel disappointed me yet again by acting too late to make in game adjustments, had he saw pryor s struggles passing and not waited till late 3rd quarter when texas started to get momentum to go to 2-qb set, game would have shaped lot more differently. still, just like you'd expect from any other close game, it came down to who made less mistakes down the stretch and ohio state was couple stupid penalties or blown coverage/missed tackle away from getting the win.

heart breaking loss for sure, but at least i made cool 250 bucks out of it, nothing better than taking advantage of naive public perception. 10 point spread, my ass
