Brewer fans have reason to be excited. They have a winning record for the first time in like 50 years. They now even have the nerve to troll other boards without being embarrassed of their own team, congratulations guys.

And the fact that Oliver Perez is pitching should give you any confidence? The better pitcher doesn't always win but fact is Cappy > Perez. You can put any homer spin you want on it but numbers don't lie.
Man I just love bandwagoners ... Brewers actually good in God knows when and they all open their closet that's full of cob webs and dust out the old cap.

the Brewers combined are hitting .169 against Ollie

It has been a long time since we had a winning team (1992), but show some respect. Nobody's trolling, just cause we don't love the Mets doesn't mean we can't enter a discussion on a baseball series.

Fact is both team are good and both will be there in September.

Well, the fact that you guys think the Mets will win doesn't mean they'll do so.

They should not have won the first game (we blew it), and we've crushed them today. Now we've got our top starter going tomorrow...the least you could say is that it will be a tough game. I'm not 100% sure we'll win but I'm confident we'll be in the game barring injury.

How did you blow the first game? Didn't the Mets produce all 5 runs on long balls? Not to mention the fact that we had Jorge Sosa pitching and you had Suppan.

I don't remember meeting you? You must have thought I was someone else cause I've loved the Crew since 82 when I was 6. Milwaukee is a baseball town...but hey what do I know, I've only lived here for 31 years.

Actually, we went 92-70 in 1992, but who's counting?

Yeah, we don't have a history of success, but history ain't but a bunch of bullsh**. The two of the last three world series winners didn't have a "history of success", and yet they won it all. In fact, the Tigers went to the World Series last year after they were perennial 100+ losers.

We're excited. No doubt.

I never said we will win or lose. I just said the starter record and era does not guarantee he will pitch good. I never said anything about the game itself, so what are you guys talking about? Give credit where it is due. Brewers lost last night, because it wasn't their day. They kicked our butts today. I won't lose sleep over the loss today and won't lose any if we lose tomorrow.

Well, Suppan gave up 4 runs in one inning but dominated the resr, and giving up a home run to Easley of all people really cost us in the end. We produced all four of our runs on long balls too...but if we didn't screw up the fourth and that dumb longball to Easley we would've won the game.

Anyways, that is our fault. You guys played well, but we really should've won that game.,

So what your saying is, if you didn't give up those homeruns in the 4th, you would've won?

Well, no **** Captain Obvious. There are no 'ifs" and "maybes". The Mets won yesterday and the Brewers won today. I'll be looking forward to the great pitching matchup tomorrow.

Easley has been playing decent for us, so I don't see how him hitting a homerun when we was already up, is you guys losing the game and not us winning it. I guess the Wright and Delgado homers don't count even, because the BrewCrew screwed up the inning

I understand that is comes off as the obvious, but Suppan has been outstanding this season. An inning like that is an aberration, which makes it more frustrating that it cost us the game.

I'm happy for the Brewers fans because there is nothing worse as a baseball fan to be out of it in May. And I ask my fellow Mets fans to not be so hard on the Brewers fans and instead, take out your disappointment in todays loss by rooting extra hard for the Yankees to get bombed tonight. Remember now, a Yankees loss is a win for the Mets!

I'm sorry Brewer fans ... I'm just so pissed that Pelfrey is sucking when he needs more seasonin in the minors ... hopefully when the Mets play the Brewers later on into the season the game will be better since the Mets rotation will be

Pedro Martinez
Tom Glavine
El Duque
John Maine
Oliver Perez

and our BP will have Gullmero Mota and maybe Duaner Sanchez

I wish somebody pull Pelfrey to the side and slap him around. How the hell you turn into a terrible starter after winning the job.

That would definitely be a more interesting matchup. Maybe by then Ryan Braun and Yovani Gallardo will be up for us (widely considered two of the best prospects in the minors...Gallardo might be the best pitcher in the minors right now...Braun is an outstanding offensive force)...that'll make the series very interesting.

A career .282 switch hitting catcher that has hit over .300 3 of the last 4 years is laughable?

No reply from Wrighteous on this?
