Post#1 » by Bucksfans1and2 » Wed Sep 8, 2010 12:47 am

Give Boise, OSU's schedule.

Marshall
Miami
Ohio
Eastern Michigan
@ Illinois
Indiana
@ Wisconsin
Purdue
@ Minnesota
Penn ST
@ Iowa
Michigan

What do you think their record is?

who do you think beats them craig?

wisconsin, penn st, and iowa are probably the only ones who give them much trouble (maybe michigan if they can get a strong season going)

and i don't know if they would lose to all three, but i might be overestimating boise and underestimating the big ten teams

There's 4, 5 or 6 that "could" beat them, which is the difficulty of playing in a real conference.

Boise gets a free ride after a couple of weeks, while all those teams in BCS conferences will have to utilize and depend on depth, face vicious road crowds, play mostly with few mistakes, and hope to catch some lucky bounces.

Well said. IMO depth is the biggest issue. If Ohio State or Wisconsin loses a starter, in most cases the dropoff isn't much. If Boise or TCU lose a left tackle or a middle linebacker or a starting WR, they're in a lot more trouble.

They wouldn't be able to stop Denard Robinson, so that's at least one loss.

No doubt it proved to be an exciting game but that isn't what BSU needed as they showed that they really have what it takes to defeat a Top 10 contemporary team.

Several teams havent been able to stop him and have still kept it close. Boises offense would light up michigan way more than Michigan would to Boise.

What if boise st was in the big east or acc? what would their record be then? because since these 2 conferences are bcs conferences that would mean an undefeated boise st in the acc or big east would put them in the national championship game.

They would easily go through the Big East and ACC. Those are two terrible conferences that shouldn't get automatic BCS berths.

I still doubt they'd run the table in the ACC.

While there is no really good team in the ACC, the depth of the conference is light years better than the WAC.

if you put boise in an AQ conference, remember they would get even BETTER players! that's just a well coached football that could hang with anybody.

in their current state they could run the table in the big 10, ACC or big east. they blew out a san jose st team on the road that wisconsin only beat at home by a couple touchdowns.

Wow, horrible logic. James Madison beat Virginia Tech by more than Boise State did so James Madison >> Boise State.

Let's give Boise State Minnesota's schedule this year.

Does anyone think they go undefeated through this?

@ Middle Tennessee State
vs South Dakota
vs USC
vs Northern Illinois
vs Northwestern
@ Wisconsin
@ Purdue
vs Penn State
vs Ohio State
@ Michigan State
@ Illinois
vs Iowa

They'd still be very good, they might even go through that with only one less, but I say the chances of them going undefeated with that schedule is less than 10%.

Finally the Boise madness is over with.

Thank you Nevada.

Boise can now host the Humanitarian bowl on that horrible field.......

Can't beileve Alabama collapsed like that. With that goes most likely any chance TCU gets to play in the national championship. **** the BCS.
