Obviously we're all excited for LSU/Bama on Saturday night, but the week kicked off last night with Northern Illinois and Toledo.

other undefeated teams (besides LSU, Alabama, and Ok St)

Great MAC West game! Toledo has two future NFLers on the team in Page and Marrow.

Tonight: Ohio U. hosts Temple in a key MAC East matchup. Go Cats! Still a chance to get the most wins of any Ohio school this season, something my beloved alma mater has not accomplished since 1935 when they beat Illinois and Michigan State and crushed Cincinnati 67-6.

I didn't realize Arkansas/South Carolina was this week, too. Absolutely mind boggling that there are two matchups between top 10 teams from the same conference.

What's even more mind boggling is that South Carolina is in the top 10 to begin with.

All the second half lead changes are amazing.

We won't talk about defense though.

Great win for my Bobcats, nice to see us finally have a QB that can complete a pass. I was a little disappointed that the students stormed the field at the end. Since when did beating Temple become cause for rampant celebration? These are games OU should be expected to win.

Prepping for a trip to Waco for Mizzou/Baylor. Don't know why but I had it in my head that Baylor was playing Texas Tech. Oh well. Looking forward to seeing RG3 and some others in person, with at least 10 teams having scouts in attendance.

Predictions for the Alabama/LSU game.

Even being a diehard LSU fan can not override my objectivity....damn, I really hope I am wrong

Alabama 27, LSU 17

I give the Alabama defense an overall slight edge, RB's a bigger edge, QB a slight edge

LSU has the edge in the secondary, at WR, and "X-factor" with Jefferson, and possibly on the O-line with Alabama missing their RT.

It's windy as hell here in Waco, steady 20MPH wind with frequent gusts. Interested to see how RGIII handles it. Looks bad in the OU/TAMU game too, as does Jeff Fuller.

Minor game but a great win for Louisville and their talented freshman QB at WVU.

What a crap game that was. Terrible QB play, Saban gets outcoached on his special teams. I pray we don't get a rematch.

RGIII was pretty impressive but I'm probably less convinced he's an NFL starter. Baylor is an interesting place to see a game; the stands were basically empty until about 10 minutes before kickoff and it didn't look like the tailgating scene was all that.

Ryan Broyles injury stinks for Oklahoma. If they're gonna beat OK State they need all hands on deck.

Saban made several errors in judgment last night that played into their defeat.

1- the pass from Maze at the LSU 28 yard line that was intercepted at the one.

Richardson had just gained 24 yards on his previous run, and had established momentum on the drive.....yet Saban chose to use a trick play in a game where the next score might just be the winning score.....and the execution of the throw is what caused the INT. Reckless

2- FG choices. With a defense that was so dominant, Saban got greedy with the repeated long FG attempts. The most reckless move was using the "short" kicker on the "long" FG attempt.

Saban should have punted and exercised patience in a game that required just that.

3. Time management. Not stopping the clock late and trying to win the game in regulation appeared to be a message of surrender to his team.
