Holy crap what an ending. PAT return for a tie, 2 OT, wow. Great game, was kind of rooting for UT as well, but great game. This weekend has been awesome and a game left to go.

Also, my sister in law works at Westlake high school where they have a QB named Ehlinger, and he is a UT recruit for next year. I guess Westlake just beat a team that hadn't lost since 2014 in a higher division the other day. It will be interesting to see how he competes with Buechele next year. Maybe a year on the bench if Buechele is that good. If it looks like more than a year I'll probably try to meet him (my sister in law knows him) and convince him to transfer to Arizona. :D

They can always RS Ehlinger and it'll give them a two year gap between them...

I wouldn't worry about QB at Zona either. This kid that you all have committed, Braxton Burmeister, looks like a baller.

Westlake's coach Todd Dodge is a badass at the high school level. My old high school had a 50+ Game winning streak and had won 3 straight titles before losing to them last year.

Anyways, this game was fantastic. One of the best we'll see all year. Despite my hatred of Texas I can't help but root for Charlie Strong, not to mention Buechele's dad is a coach for the rangers.

Both coaches made the mistake of playing their #2 qb to much. Especially Notre Dame. Swoopes should be used in the JW Walsh/Blake Bell role for Texas.

One or 2 more big wins this year, and Charlie probably gets another year

His Southlake Carroll teams are the stuff of legends. He was overmatched at UNT but you would be hard pressed to find an equal in the High School ranks. Maybe Tom Westerberg who just left Allen and a massive powerhouse to go coach Barbers Hill down near Houston but I can't think of any others.

Yea I went to Allen, was real excited to see Dodge succeed at UNT, but alas. He was the only guy Westeberg could never beat, didn't beat SLC til he left. Their team all being on steroids didn't help matters.

I'll never get Westeberg leaving Allen, but they've been fine so far
