USC has probably four running backs that are better than Mendenhall, but damn if Mendenhall doesn't deserve respect.

Zook will talk him out of it. If Mendenhall comes back, the Illini should be one of the top 5 favorites to win it all next year. Plus, Mendenhall would probably be one of the favorites to win the Heisman alongside Tebow.
