The top 5, excluding Boise control their own destiny.

Win them all and they are in.

Oklahoma should have no problem running the table this year. I think they'll walk in and out of Tallahassee with no problem and then they should cruise because I believe the high ranked Big 12 teams are criminally overrated.

I don't think Bama or LSU will go undefeated, obviously since they play each other, but I think LSU has the better chance. I think their toughest game remaining, other than their matchup, is going to be against Tennessee.

Boise should walk this year, but the BCS won't give em the shot to be in the NC.

No one will step into Camp Randall and beat Wisconsin this year, but they do go to Lansing and Columbus in back to back weeks, and that'll be tough.

I still think Florida shouldn't be ranked, nor Auburn.

I can't wait to see what UCF does the rest of the way.

Michigan doesn't deserve any votes, let alone being the 26th team at this point.

I'm not sure that Oklahoma gets out of Tallahassee unbeaten this week.

I disagree about UF, their roster is loaded, and have been nothing but efficient so far. Remember, this isn't about last years' 7-5 team.

Auburn shouldn't be ranked, but should be just outside of the polls......but it's a moot point anyway unless their defense grows up very very fast.

Anyone else think Oklahoma is the weakest #1 in a long time? The passing offense is great but the rest of that squad is pretty pedestrian as far as top 10 teams go.

Texas being ranked is a bigger joke than Michigan. They struggled with Rice until the gadget plays worked, then used 3 QBs and more gadget plays to beat a completely offense-less BYU team.

I still think Virginia Tech winds up playing for the national title.

I didn't think Oklahoma should have been ranked at the top ahead of other contenders (namely Alabama).

I think tOklahoma has plenty of talent, but I doubt they'll finish where they've started.

We'll see if both FSU and Oklahoma are worthy of the preseason hype this weekend.

I'll be in Starkville for LSU/MSU tomorrow night. Looking forward to seeing the atmosphere, never been there before.

As a diehard supporter of LSU I am envious.

I guess we'll see how good Miss St is this week.

I am leery of this game because I think Miss St is pretty decent......and they'll be out to avenge many of the poundings they've taken from LSU over the past ten years.

va tech isnt playing for the national title, any time they're close they choke

i expect ou to go and beat fsu this weekend

im curious how wisconsin will fare the rest of this year. they're a 2nd tier team imo but one could argue theyve looked the best thus far (not that they've played anyone) perhaps w/wilson at qb they'll take the leap

I don't know how good the Wisconsin defense is, but with Russell Wilson at QB their offense is flat out overpowering and dynamic.

It just got worse now that Devin Smith is out for the season.

I did Baton Rogue last year for the Bama game and it is such a unique experience. I have no dog in the fight, just hoping for a good game and catching up with some scouts. SEC venues are so different from Big Ten and ACC places, very intimate and family-like. Big Ten is more like a giant frat party, ACC (mostly) is like going to an opera.

I want to see the LSU defense play to their potential. There is a lot of talent there but they don't always seem like they know it.
