Re: AP Poll- Week 4 - New #1
LSU is far and away the best team in the nation right now and the coaches are absolutely (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to have them #3. I can't wait for that Nov. 5th game is Tuscaloosa.
Wisconsin gets Nebraska on Saturday at Camp Randall and it's the first test of the season. If the Badgers can put up 30+ on the Blackshirts and make it look good, they should be unstoppable the rest of the way.
I'm starting to buy into Icness' VaTech prediction, too. They just seem to be very organized and methodical in every game they've played thus far.
I am really curious about who can stop Georgia Tech's triple option. They may sneak into the top 10 this season. They get Clemson and VaTech at home and may start shocking some people.

Re: AP Poll- Week 4 - New #1
LSU is the best team I've seen. Bama is second and their defense is fantastic. Wisconsin is really good but they have yet to be challenged.
Clemson/VT this week is for all intents and purposes a BCS elimination game. Winner should go undefeated into the AC title game, loser will wind up in the Capital One Bowl against Michigan State. I think just the way it plays out that if VT wins this and then doesn't lose except in the ACC title game they still make the BCS at large. VT wins out and they'll be hard to deny because they'll have played a better schedule than Boise State. I just don't see Oklahoma or Wisconsin going undefeated but either would obviously have an edge over VT if they were, maybe Stanford too if they somehow win out. Not saying VT is even one of the 8 best teams in the country but it just looks like opportunity sets itself up nicely for them.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I'm sorry but I really don't believe that LSU can beat Bama at home, I just can't fathom that at the moment. This will be the most exciting boring defensive game ever with the way these defenses have been playing.

Time will tell......but November is a long ways away from seeing how both of these teams first.... stay healthy, and second.... evolve
