heres YOUR NCAA/BCS "crapmire"(quagmire)!!

As of today . . . without even playing the SEC title game between LSU and Georgia . . . ALABAMA HAS AN ASSURED SPOT IN THE TITLE GAME?!?!

now . . . if LSU wins, fine they'll be in it. IF LSU LOSES TO GEORGIA . . . we could possibly have 2 teams with no CONFERENCE TITLE IN THE BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?!?

in actuality however, USC should be there and would smoke either of those teams. for USC the southeastern conference is not a problem.

bcs is a mess as it is, lets have it at least have some integrity- no cheaters allowed, usc can just serve its time

should be houston and lsu, where's the justice!

Y'all know exactly how to stop it: Don't watch the BCS title game, and convince everyone you know to do the same. It's not like you'll miss much if the first meeting was any indication. I won't spend one minute of my time on that rematch.

actually . . . hmmm . . . heres a scenario . . . should LSU become the 2nd place team in their own conference, thereby losing to georgia . . . STANFORD VS OK. STATE!! no, those 2 teams would not win their conference either. va. tech it is!!

The two defenses are among the best in a long time.

I think a rematch will bring about slightly different game plans.....but if the defenses are spot on again, it still won't be a high scoring game.

Houston would get destroyed by LSU or Alabama.

Great year for the Cougars, but they are not elite by any means.

Alabama and Michigan get rewarded for losing games. Boise St loses one stupid game because of their kicker and become the worst team ever.

I don't know. I think Alabama is the 2nd best team, maybe even the best team, but I get why people don't want to see a rematch.

That's because of the video game-like play of the Big 12, ACC and Pac 12.

People want the instant gratification of seeing 7-play, 69-yard scoring drives all game long.

If Oklahoma ever decided to return to true power football instead of throwing 50 times, they probably would have interrupted the current SEC BCS championship run.

I dont care if there is a rematch. I do care that Alabama is already a lock for the national championship game. If they beat LSU then LSU would be a lock for the national championship game right now. Its bull ****.

People who say the first LSU-Bama game was bad should not call themselves football fans.

Sorry fellas, real football does not consist of video game stats and six hail mary touchdowns a game. It's about who wants it more, who can get the extra six inches when they need it, who can power their way through a forest of monsters into daylight for one more yard.

That's what football is. Not these pansy 66-49 scores that feature teams who would sooner do a shot of arsenic than play defense.

There is a reason the SEC will win their 6th straight BCS.

While the Big 12, Pac 12, ACC all want to play video game football, they all just get shut down when faced against power football teams that have great depth and speed on the lines and are able run the ball down their opponents throat.

If Oklahoma and Texas would find their roots again in philosophy, they'd be back in the hunt again.
