the ncaa has finally broken down and gotten itself a playoff system (starts in 2014)

I've never really watched college football I've watched a few national championship games over the years, USC vs Texas in 06 etc But the playoff system is a HUGE step-forward for ncaa football and makes me want to start watching college football.

My almamater doesn't have a foot ball team though don't really have a horse in the race.
