BCS Poll: Numero Dos

1. Bama
2. Florida
3. Kansas State
4. Oregon
5. Notre Dame
6. LSU
7. Oregon State
8. Oklahoma
9. USC
10. Georgia

A little bit of shuffling around in the Top 10 because of South Carolina's absolute dismantling by Florida. I guess the big move here, is K-State leapfrogging Oregon to move into the 3-spot.

There's some great matchups coming this weekend, so next week's poll could look even more different...

Florida vs. Georgia (in Jacksonville)
Texas Tech @ K-State
Mississippi St. @ Alabama (when's the last time this matchup held big BCS implications?)
Notre Dame @ Oklahoma
Duke @ FSU (I know this may not seem like much, but Duke is currently atop the Coastal standings at 6-2)

Crazy weekend ahead of us.

Georgia beats Florida, Tech gives a scare to K-State but loses, Alabama routs MSU, Oklahoma over ND and FSU over Duke in a closer game than most think.

if they can overcome Richt factor, wouldn't surprise me if Georgia ends up in the title game. if they beat Florida, they are clear all the way to the SEC title game and anything can happen there.

So Kansas State backs out of a non-conference game against Oregon this year (to avoid being slaughtered) and they leapfrog Oregon...awesome.

Sounds like smart strategy, how else would they have a shot at getting ahead of them? To confront them? Nah, that's too dangerous. ;)

They never had a shot to go to the BCS Championship on a 1 loss record no matter who they play, their best chance is to simply go undefeated and hope for the best, and not playing Oregon is their best path to get there, and possibly in front of Oregon if Oregon loses at least one game.

No love for the Beavers? I could see them pulling an upset in the Civil War.

i love beaver. i just on a personal level, know a coupla guys on the ducks, and their firepower overcomes any coaching schemes that the beavers can come up with.

Things are going to get a little clearer as 8 teams lost this week that were either in the Top 15 or undefeated. All of the remaining undefeated teams will be in the top 10 now.
