BCS Poll: #3

Post#1 » by Da Schwab » Mon Oct 29, 2012 3:40 am

1. Bama
2. K-State
3. Notre Dame
4. Oregon
5. LSU
6. Georgia
7. Florida
8. South Carolina
9. FSU
10. Louisville

I honestly can't see Alabama losing to anyone right now. They're so above and beyond the best team in the nation. I also believe Notre Dame may actually be legit. They're offense isn't very talented, but that defense is something to be reckoned with. I don't think Oregon should've been as severely punished as they were for beating what's probably the worst team in any AQ conference (Colorado).

Louisville has the very unfortunate attribute of being in the Big LEast and no matter how much they beat down teams in conference play, they have no shot at the NC even by going undefeated. The back end of Georgia's schedule will probably make them dip in the rankings and a win in the SEC Championship would be the only thing to catapult them into the Top 2.

Anywho, more big games on the docket this weekend:

Bama @ LSU
OK State @ K-State
Pitt @ Notre Dame
Oregon @ USC

And Oregon takes it in the butt again from the BCS poll...if they go 13-0 and blow out everyone but don't make the national championship game then it adds more fuel to the BCS being a pile of crap.

Oregon has nothing to blame but their cream puff out of conference schedule. Tennessee Tech, Arkansas st and Fresno?? i hope they pay for it by not ending up in the championship game.

9 weeks into the season and they are yet to beat an impressive team and probably not gonna beat more than two teams that will be ranked at the end of the season.

The polls don't matter now for placement. If Oregon goes undefeated, I GUARANTEE they make it to the championship game. Unless of course it's a freak result like they win every game by 1 pt and Kansas St wins every game by 40, but barring anything super unusual Oregon controls their own destiny I'm quite sure.

It's all about the top 4, I'm banking on anybody outside the top 4 not being able to make it. Of course some upsets can throw a wrench in that but I'm confident at least 2 of the current top 4 are going to be there in the end. Mark it down!

And yes Louisville is screwed, and LSU would be the winner if my prediction falls apart.

i guarantee if k-state makes it over oregon if they run the table, i think k-state is gonna lose at least one but oregon certainly does not control its own destiny.
